"A super clean, tidy, and comfortable place to stay in laid back Kawhia, The ever changing view over the harbour as the tide rolled in and out was very relaxing and even though the fishing trip was cancelled due to the big swell we had some quality time to chill out. "Lovely accommodation, warm, and well equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. Fantastic views and within walking distance to the beach. We took our two large dogs with us and they had a marvelous time. Section well fenced for our 4 legged friends. Fishing was marvelous and so many places to fish from. Our hostess was brilliant, and made us feel so at ease. We hope to return again. Thank you Annette for sharing your beautiful haven with us. You and your property exceeded our expectations"

"This was a great place to chill out, with a wonderful outlook over Aotea Harbour and very quiet at this time of year (end April). Neat and clean with very a well equipped kitchen. It was comfortable for our stay but expect it could get very hot in summer, and be cold in winter (only one small panel heater for a large space)."

"Our third time to visit, hopefully WIFI will be added to the property. The neighbours dog was bold, making its way throught the back door to pull out the garbage. He wasn't deterred when shooed away, the owner heard me and took control of the dog"

"Our stay here was brief but excellent. We were driving down after a Women's World Cup game in Auckland, and didn't have any idea when we would arrive - the owner Steve was so friendly and flexible with our arrival it put our minds at ease. The location is unmatched, such an amazing spot in the country. The facility has much to offer and we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. Everything about the place was wonderful!"
