I don’t think the beach area is private and not extremely large, but we didn’t exactly go to Maui for the beach. Be careful of the beach trail in high tide/high wave conditions. Overall hidden gem."

We stayed at the Hokupa’a tower which included access to the Lanai. The view from the terrace is magnificent and the access to the Lanai includes breakfast and small bites and dinner items from 5-7pm. We watched most sunsets at the Lanai while sipping cocktails in front of the infinity pool. "
