"The property was so beautiful and relaxing. The view of the beach was so gorgeous and breathtaking. The security guards and staff at the property were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I was slightly disappointed was I thought our room came with a full kitchen but it did not. We had no sink, plates or silverware to use so please plan ahead. Also the rooms walls are very thin. We could hear the conversations of our neighbors next door and every cough. I'm very thankful our neighbors where not snoring. If you are a light sleeper I suggest earplugs. Other than that, overall our stay was very memorable and we would actually love ro come back again. "

"Trip was awesome. Loved the views, loved the little extras to do dishes and laundry. Wasn’t a fan of paying daily for a gym pass, should be included. Parking for higher end rooms should be included or as an option to be included. Hotel was beautifully maintained and staff was very friendly. We loved the food there and drinks were very affordable. "

"We have stayed at Gardens at West Maui every few years for the last twenty years. It's been our favorite place and we've recommended it to dozens of family and friends. Never before have had anything but an excellent experience. This trip was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. 1. Dogs were barking every night. Many dogs. Very loud. Awakened us many times each night - as well as barking during the day. 2. Maintenance seems to have been stepped down. Place appears shabby. There was rust in the show, mildew on the bathroom ceiling, uncleaned smudges on the glass wardrobe doors and grimy bathtub. 3. The dryer vent for the unit was missing and a rather large bird seemed to be nesting and trying to get into the unit. It was very very noisy and breaking the aluminum vent away from the wall. By the end of the trip it was sticking it's head through to look at us. I did not use the washer/dryer as I kept thinking the vent must be full of bird poop. The lady at the front desk was very nice during check-in and helped us with the TV which took a minimum of 10 minutes to come up. Sorry to report this as we've had many wonderful visits to this resort and it's sister property, Kahana Sands. But this trip was a bitter disappointment."

"We had a wonderful 8-day stay. The property was exactly as portrayed on the website. We received quite a lot of rain during our stay, and were concerned because the drain seemed to be backing up outside the door, however the maintenance crew was quick to respond to our call, and fixed the issue and followed up once the rain had subsided. We would absolutely stay there again, and would highly recommend to anyone."
