"The hotel is in a great location overlooking a sandy beach and I think all of the rooms have this beautiful view. The staff are great and very helpful. There are a couple of negatives about it for me. The hotel rooms felt a bit dated compared to everywhere else we stayed. The pool was closed for the whole time we were there. Probably the most frustrating was that between 3pm and 6 there is no way to get anything to eat. After that the restaurants are v limited, a very expensive french restaurant and Very expensive japanese restaurant. It is a short trip on the train to Kawsu where there are more options or a small beach shack serving local food during the day."

"We loved our authentic Japanese vacation stay. Fireworks were a surprise we had not expected. Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. Onsen was a new experience for us being Canadian but now we love it and will miss this relaxing ritual."

"The view from the hotel is magnificent. The Japanese style rooms are spacious and quiet. I speak survival level Japanese, but there were a lot of communication problems so be ready to have your translator handy. It’s best to have a car to get around the shuttle service was hard to schedule and when returning from the station, they leave exactly at the hour they won ’t wait one minute for you during the crowded summer months you cannot get dinner served in your room so you have to eat and the buffet which had good quality for food, but it was still an expensive buffet"
