"This was my second time at the property; however, it had recently changed its name from the Comfort inn brand. The only noticeable change was there was no waffle iron to make waffles, as before! The only negative would be the setup of the breakfast area in general. It was poorly organized such that, for example, the coffee was poured at one side of the area and the cream was in a fridge on the other. Maybe fine if just one person was there but with little kids, it was an accident waiting to happen. Anyway people were milling around not orderly at all. We’ve had much experience at US Military inns so notice some issues that they need to address. Otherwise, staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Well worth what we paid especially compared to comparable properties in the area."

"My sister and I brought my dog to this resort and had a wonderful stay! The room was clean with a very cozy feeling. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The highlight of the property is the lovely pool that we had all to ourselves because it was a weekday trip. We also loved that we could take my furbaby to the pool side instead of leaving her in the room. We could also take my furbaby to the dining room to have breakfast. So far all the hotels we visited, in the past didn't allow dogs at the dining area. Timber House Resort is super pet friendly! We enjoyed the homemade breakfast. It was very tasty and the homemade blueberry muffins were amazing! There's also a small private beach about 200 meters from the resort which is very relaxing and peaceful to spend some quality time. Lucy and her daughter who manage the resort are very friendly and helpful. We will surely come back to stay in the future!"
"Wonderful staff, service and management. So perfect for my son and I for one of his golf tournament stops. Management was so accommodating and customer focused and all staff I engaged with were also wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and hotel was super clean. "
