The property seems at first like it might be in an odd location, but its only a block from the beach (with a cocktail lounge seaside), a small convenience store across the street & walkable restaurants. The room was bright & clean & in the midst of a reno. Its going to be really beautiful when completed!The host was very accommodating with our seemingly endless changes with our airline. "

This is a superb option for accommodation in the heart of the Trogir Old Town. First, the host Vesna was delightful and extremely helpful. She waited up late to greet us after our arrival was delayed by several hours until late at night. Then she helped arrange a visit to a local doctor (who was very competent and great to deal with btw) for a minor medical issue. Newly renovated. The hotel has only 6 Rooms. We stayed on the top floor. Although no lift we got used to climbing the stairs. The room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful large bathroom. The hotel staff were fabulous. Warm and friendly. The location was in the heart of the old town next to the Diocleation Palace and the waterfront. It was a great stay and amazingly quiet despite being in the heart of the old town

Our experience at Imperator was excellent in all respects. Marina was great at meeting our taxi and taking us to the room, and Thomas was also great in helping with our luggage to the next hotel. Position was unbeatable, central in the Old Town, and convenient to numerous bars and restaurants (& gelato bars). We were warned about restaurant noise from the nearby dining but never found it a problem. Overall we can highly recommend Guesthouse Imperator.
