First time on the island

Beautiful location

We were impressed with the cleanliness. The view from the lanai was wonderful. Well equipped. Air conditioning in bedroom only. Bed very firm and hide-a-bed bot very comfortable.

Beautiful views

The view from the lanai is why we chose this property and it didn’t disappoint. We absolutely loved the views. Pool was also beautiful and the condo was well appointed with all the things we required for the week. They were also so kind to extend our checkout by 2 hours since we have an infant and a long travel day ahead. The air conditioner is confined to the bedroom, so the condo does get quite hot even with doors / windows open. We did know this before we booked this property though. A few maintenance things needed to be addressed. We were told a handy man would come Sunday or Monday but they didn’t arrive during our stay. The bed was very uncomfortable / saggy. I think the box spring may have been broken. Otherwise just small maintainance things.

Very well managed, property grounds beautifully maintained. The pool is salt water, clean and beautiful. It was a smaller pool but nevr crowded. It is walking distance to restaurants, shopping and of course beaches.

Kauai 2024

The condo was like home away from home with a beach view. I usually stay at hotels and was pleasantly surprised to see the goodies provided including laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner, beach chairs & umbrella, extra beach bags, boogie boards, and more. Not sure if this is normal. The property and condo were clean. I would definitely book again!

Perfect Place in Lihue/Kapa'a

Perfect location to take off from for all Kauai adventures and exploring. Perfect place to come home to for relaxing with the ocean waves to watch and hear. Perfectly appointed, it deserves my highest recommendation.

Lovely spot, great location, everything you need.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was well equiped, and had everything we needed. It's a great location in Kapa'a, just a drive away from the airport and Lihue, Waimea, and much more. Great restaurants nearby. View of the ocean. Very nice decor, comfy and cozy.

Clean, well maintained and convenient

We had a fantastic vacation in this condo. The view was amazing, the location was central to so much beauty. We will definitely recommend this condo to friends. Because we are from the east coast we were up early everyday and it was nice to be able to make coffee and sit on the lanai to start the day.

Great condo great view very comfortable

We really enjoyed the condo as a base to see the Island, we did a great self guided car tour of Waimea Canyon. We also visited Poipu beach and appreciated the beach at the condo as it’s not a crowded madhouse like Poipu. We enjoyed the little bakery across the street and the Olympic restaurant in town. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed and pillows comfy. The beach chairs and umbrella were great!

Good location

It was just right for our stay though we were in 104 and if you looked to the right it was a dilapidated building. As long as you looked straight ahead or left it was sbeautiful view.

I stayed in the unit for a business trip. The unit looks just like the photos. Unit was clean and with an amazing view of the ocean. I would stay again if I can get this unit on my next business trip.

Lovely Apartment

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great, mid-island with lots of restaurants near by. The condo was clean and comfortable. I was surprised that the AC was in the bedroom and not central AC but we turned down the temperature, used the fans in the living room and closed the shades while we were out and entire condo stayed cool enough.

Great Space felt like home!

Condo was the perfect floor plan and size, they had everything we could ever need at our fingertips! We couldn't believe the view, friends actually asked if I had filters on my pictures, which I did not it was just that beautiful! Condo was clean and property management company was so easy to work with! We even saw a pod of dolphins in front, on our last day! Downside for us was just how quiet it was, we were scared to make a peep, but this would definitely be a perk for most!

Functional suite at a great price

The complex which houses this unit is definitely one of the best for the price. The views are fabulous, the pool perfect after a day at the beach and the proximity to all parts of the island excellent. The unit itself is fully functional albeit a bit "tired". A few reasonable updates to the furniture, ceiling fans and bed mattress would bring the rating up to 5 vs a 4. All in all, a good place to hang your hat during a visit to Kauai at a great price.

2 weeks in Paradise!

WBV is situated close to numerous wonderful beaches and essential services with Kapa’a — and its “beach vibe” — just up the road (5 to 10-minute drive) . The condo property is centrally located on the east coast of the island, which allows for relatively easy access (max. <1 hour by car) to beautiful sights and places along the East, North (wetter) and South (drier) coasts, as well as inland from there (West). They call it the Garden Island for a reason!!! The vegetation is beautiful and the beaches are numerous and varied, with many safe swimming and some snorkeling opportunities On the whole, people (local and tourists) were very courteous and generally very laid back 🤙. There were some traffic “pinch points” during the daytime — due in part to ongoing road-improvement construction and in part to simple traffic volume issues on the Kuhio Hwy. Issues were minimized by avoiding higher volume commuter times.

Bay View 104

Stayed 2 weeks in Kauai, business and then vacation. Check in was easy and the condo was clean other than the blender that was dirty but we replaced! AC is in bedroom only, so be prepared to be warm on occasion if you visit in the warmer months. Food is very expensive so plan accordingly. Its almost easier in my opinion to cook Breakfast / lunch and go out for dinner. (Restaurant meals sometimes better deal than Safeway and cooking.) The negative is that the beach pictures are old! This is not a beach access right out your door place. You will need to walk down to street level and the beach has cliffs and lots of debris and wood on it. The beach was washed out years ago from a storm. The pics should be updated to reflect this. Also, be advised the increase of homeless persons in Kauai. You will see them nearby! Also the islanders have a love hate relationship with mainlanders. You will hear that as well. (witnessed lots of arguments) On a different note: This is the safest place in the planet at this time due to heavy COVID restrictions and mask wearing! Very impressive. Be respectful to the islanders and remember you are a visitor. I saw many mainlanders acting ridiculous. Other than the beach view being washed out, and the heavy traffic outside the door, it was a good place to stay and a fair price. Property management was very easily to work with. Thank you.

Kauai vacay

This property is in need of a major facelift. Nothing worked well and everything needs updating from the bed and furniture to the kitchen and bathroom. Everything was very worn out. The view is the best part but it was on a very busy highway which degraded the property.

Wonderful place to stay with great view! Suggestion to owner was to put a blind over front access door so outside lighting could be reduced. Security lights over front door shined into hallway and bedroom ….Also people could see in even with current window treatment in place
