"My room was spacious and clean looking. I was pleased overall. The TV worked fine. A desk clock worked good after I plugged it in. I was disappointed there were no USB sockets for charging devices, as these are becoming pretty common in hotel rooms. When I inquired about shower soap via text, the hotel responded promptly, and they were very gracious, asking me to let them know if there was anything else at all that I needed. They were always pleasant and polite, which is refreshing. The hotel is older, so the rooms might show that, esp the bathrooms - but this is more than made up for in the price and the graciousness of the staff. A pleasant stay in midtown KC!"

"room 417 was good. the cover for the ac/heater fell off the wall first night with a crash at 3am! scared the crap out of my wife and i. the thing needs a good cleaning, dust was pretty thick in unit. shower definitely leaks everywhere while showering, all in all the hotel was great with pool to enjoy 80 degree weather while in town!"

"We LOVED this property. It looks so cute and spacious in the pictures and it did not disappoint! We spent all of our time on the third floor balcony which was comfy and a beautiful natural setting. We enjoyed the friendly neighborhood and the history. Beds comfortable, clean and well appointed bathroom and an efficient kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!"
