The room was in good condition. The staff was OK but the local owner is requiring a $100 dollar security deposit. You don't get that back until after you have left. That didn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I did get it back according to an email I received later. I still need to check with my bank to verify that it was returned.

I had stayed here about 10 years ago and it was clean and nice. It is not anymore. I had no soap, or any toiletries. The microwave looked like chili had been spilled it. The fridge had a red liquid in the bottom that smelled like salsa. Smears of something and water spots all over the mirror. The bathroom sink faucet needs to be replaced. There was what looked like a vomit stain on the wall by the bed. I never felt unsafe, but it seems to be housing for a lot of people now. The front desk personnel were nice, but defensive because I didn't report this upon check in, but I left to visit family and came back late and didn't do a walk thru, it was the next morning when I went to shower and found dusty grime on the toilet tank lid, and steamrolled from there. I chked out that day.

The staff were very accommodating and the hotel wax clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was most enjoyable, I got to make waffles. Oh yeah... Potheads delight. Wake n bake then waffles and cereal. Like totally cool. Awesome folks thanks for your hospitality. Will recommend to friends and family.

Upon check-in I was able to observe 3 police officers coming into the lobby. They spoke to the clerk regarding a person of interest that was staying at the hotel. I still proceeded with check in and the clerk was very kind and professional. The room was presentable but did have a musty odor.

The staff was very nice! The room was not so great, mattress should be replaced as it had a large depression in it and things in the bathroom were in disrepair. I had stayed there a couple of years ago and it was a decent place but after this stay I will not return.

It was an ok stay. One night, the police woke up the whole hotel looking for someone. Banging on doors in the middle of the night is not for the faint of heart. Also, breakfast wasn’t that great. Coffee sucked. And, no elevator. Cost more to stay on first floor. Weird. The location was great.

They had lots of maps and information on just inside the front door. Our check in experience was good. We stayed in a plain room, but it was everything we needed and mostly in good repair. It was a good deal for the price. There was a Perkins Restaurant (even open Thanksgiving Day) and an Aldis Grocery Store very close by. Bathroom fan which came on with the light sounded like it was broken or about to break but it didn’t bother me after a while. Tub contained a non-slip mat and there was no water softener, which I like. Rea Bed was good, although I prefer a queen size to a king because I am small. Still that is not the motel’s fault. Breakfast was good but standard. Bottom Line: I would stay here again.

Moderately priced, this property is clean and well maintained. The concrete parking lot is cracked, but I only cared about the interior condition. Right off of the freeway and main Lee Summit arteries, but very quiet. An Aldi next door and restaurants within walking distance. For a stay in Lees Summit, this is a good choice.

Good Stay

This hotel is good for a short term stay. I stayed here for 18 days straight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I didnt have to worry about noise or anything. Be careful walking in the parking lot as there are many holes and you could be easily injured and do some damage to your tires. Very nice area and there are plenty of food options close to the hotel. The free breakfast wont have alot of options but overall i would definitely stay here again.
