November 2024 KC Visit

We had a great stay at the Retro Loft. Great location to the City Market area and street car train. Very clean and quiet. Walking distance to several attractions / restaurants / breweries. Would pay for the parking lot (right across the street). Street parking was full most of our visit. Would stay here again.

Sisters weekend

My two sisters and I stayed at the Retro Loft and had a great time. There are very good restaurants and bars you can walk to. We had a great time. In the spring, summer, and fall the river market/farmers market is so fun. Parking is at a premium.

Fantastic stay

This unit is beautiful and in a great location. The building is peaceful, safe, and very nicely maintained. It is close to lots of restaurants, coffee places, the River Market - so there are many places you can just walk to. There is an optional reserved parking space in the lot across the street that is only a small extra fee. It is well worth it, because finding a parking space nearby can be challenging. I would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay. The host is super friendly, responsive and helpful. I would give this an extra star if I could.

Large studio in an excellent location

The studio is very spacious with three large windows. It is located on the third floor, an elevator is available. The building is very quiet. The decor is very interesting, modern-retro. TV and retro dial-radio are provided for entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring a large kitchen island for meals. The supplies are plentiful. The location cannot be better. The studio is located in a mostly residential area, 2min away from the market where you can find pretty much everything, coffee, spices, bakeries, restaurants, produce, Italian market, middle eastern market, etc. The free street car station is about 1-2 min walking, next to a famous ice cream parlor and several restaurants. The check in/out instructions are automated and need to be updated since the building entrance has changed. Parking is available for a fee. The street parking is free but only for 2h.

I LOVED this amazing loft! It was so clean and loved the 70’s vibe decor. It was steps to great restaurants and my favorite- Betty Rae’s ice cream shop. Can’t say enough great things- we will definitely be back!

Very stylish but not the most comfortable seating for an elderly couple. Be sure to find out where you are allowed to park or you will be towed.
