Lovely home and a great place to stay.

This house was perfect for our group, everyone loved it. It has old charm with modern updates. It has a great layout for larger groups and had everything we needed. The location made it easy to get downtown and the neighborhood was quieter than we expected for being off a main street.

A perfect family gathering in KC!

This house was the perfect setting for a fantastic family weekend in Kansas City. Its location was excellent for getting to the Plaza as well as downtown and Westport. We had plenty of space for everyone and everything was clean and lovely.

We stayed a long weekend for my mom’s 60th birthday. The home was perfect for our group of 8, it was, and it was perfect for a lowkey weekend with friends and family. The location was within 10 minutes to Crown Center, Country Club Plaza, and downtown.

Lovely home in a convenient location

Our stay was exceptional. This house was full of character and charm, it was clean and updated, and had all that we needed to feel at home in Kansas City. The location was ideal and so close to many of the city's amazing spots and neighborhoods. The communication was perfect and clear from our hostess. It made for the perfect home base for our time exploring and enjoying Kansas City. We loved it!

What a rental experience should/can be

Property was great. Owner was quick to respond to all questions, and when a question arose, it was the owner and not a third-party management service that responded. NO unnecessary check out instructions required of us which was highly appreciated.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The Walnut house exceeded all expectations! It’s a lovely, updated home that gave our group of 7 plenty of space. We prepared a Thanksgiving meal & appreciated the generous size of the kitchen & a table that comfortably seated us all. The living spaces, bedrooms & bathrooms were all clean & well appointed. Amber was quick to respond to the few questions that we had & made it clear that she was available 24/7 if need be. Our son lives in KC & we all look forward to future family reunions at the Walnut house!

Walnut Oasis

My family and I needed a centrally located home to stay for a family memorial service. The home on Walnut met all our criteria and more. We loved the layout, central gathering areas and very private bedrooms. The home has been tastefully remodelled but still retains its original charm and warmth. We will definitely return to this lovely home the next time we gather in Kansas City. Our host, Amber was a delight to work with during the reservation process and during our stay. She has other properties as well that we will be checking out for future travels.

Beautiful home, excellent host!

This is an older home, beautifully renovated in all the right areas. It's wonderful to still see all of the intricate woodwork and molding that they have left in the home. Every aspect of this place is great. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathrooms are spotlessly clean, the living areas are comfortable and warm. Because it is an older home, they have thoughtfully placed floor unit air conditioners in every room, so you can dial in the comfort you want. Amber, the host, was extremely communicative, and helped us with a couple of special needs that we had. She was gracious and forthcoming, polite and understanding. I really can't say enough about this experience. If this home looks like it meets your needs, don't hesitate to reserve it. You won't be sorry.
