Our stay was excellent!! The location is perfect for walkable access to the Plaza and beyond! We had a really nice view from our room! Communication was excellent I especially appreciated the online handbook. Very easy to access and follow for a wealth of information! Property is very clean and well kept!
Very old. Some questionable tenants, elevator smells like pot. Property needs more outlets in bedroom especially by the bed for people with CPAP machines. Location is great.
Kristen was so easy to communicate with. She was really fast to respond. The elevator was out in the building, but Kristen let me know ahead of time and offered to refund my stay if it was a problem for us. The condo was exactly as advertised. The location was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again!

Actual unit is good
The actual unit is very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and linens and towels were good. The street parking and walking up the awkward stairs wasn’t the best, I would have expected better for the price we paid.
The location was amazing. We were in walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and museums. Even the places in which we had to drive were not far. Our only concern was that we did not get check in instructions until we reached out for them.
Thanks so much!
Aside from the elevator problem positive. Maybe my checkin problem but the apartment just what was needed in comfort ad facilities
Please all notice the wonderful Museum nearby. That in combination with nearness to other Kansas City jazz and food very nice indeed
The warnings about parking challenges on weekends appreciated but unnecessary and the circular drive allowed drop off luggage in any case.

We had a great time at The Nelson condo. It was a good location to launch from as we revisited our favorite Kansas City spots. And the space is cute and functional.
Despite some difficulty with road construction for the streetcar expansion, and the inconvenient outage of the elevator, we were happy with our pick for staying in KC for a long weekend.
And lastly, there were a few minor issues upon arrival, but the property manager had a maintenance person there to address the issues within hours of being informed by us. We definitely appreciated that responsiveness!
If you're looking for the perfect stay in Kansas City, then look no further - this place has it all. The location is great - there are some lovely coffee shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. You're also right next to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art which is not only amazing (and free) to go into, but also has stunning gardens around it.
The apartment itself is great - has all the amenities you need. Comfy couch. Good TV in the living room and bedroom etc. Comms with the host was perfect.
Only issue is the elevator was out, but we knew that ahead of booking and while it's on the 4th floor it takes seconds to walk it.
Loved Kansas City. Loved this VRBO. Will definitely be back again!
In KC on a book tour, I wanted a safe spot centrally located, since I had appointments in all directions. This place was perfect. I was one block from the nearest diner, a few more blocks from coffee, 1/2 mile to Whole Foods. Parking was no problem. Bonus: The Nelson art museum's grounds are across the street. Loose Park is within walking distance.
The unit itself was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The elevator wasn't working, but that information was communicated both before and after booking, and the walk up to the fourth floor was good exercise. The kitchen was well stocked, including four types of coffeemaker! The bed was comfortable, as was the sofa. Sheets and towels very nice. Livingroom was also comfortable for lounging and working. The unit has air conditioners, but I was comfortable sleeping with the windows open. Inside, the building is very quiet - I never heard any noise from the other units. Street traffic can be a bit noisy at night with windows open.
The space was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back!
This property has a great location near the Nelson Atkins Gallery, UMKC, and the Plaza. All of these are within walking distance, the latter two are four to five blocks away. The hallway external to the condo could be a bit cleaner, but the condo itself was good and clean. The host was quick to answer when we had questions.
We enjoyed our stay. It is close to the art museum and lots of restaurants. On street parking was no problem during our visit. The traffic noise did bother me the first night, but I got used to it. Overall a nice place to spend the weekend.
My husband and I were in town visiting friends and we always love being close to the plaza’s shops and restaurants. This condo was perfect for our needs and short stay. Even though my husband and I are used to a king bed, the queen bed was extremely comfortable. We never had an issue finding a parking spot. We would definitely stay here again!
Super cute apartment, perfect for a couple. Right across the street from the Nelson. Stairs weren’t an issue. Kinda narrow but otherwise totally fine. Great touch having coffee for us. Thank you!
We needed to be near the plaza for food three times, for long morning walks on Bush Creek and for the Nelson Atkins. We did not have time for Shakespeare in the Park but the Tempest was playing every evening nearby. The apartment on floor four was very enjoyable and super well stocked. Whole Foods grocery is nearby. Parking on the street no problem even while Tempest was on.
