We were charged a resort fee that when we made our reservation in Feb didn’t have one but it went into effect April 1. Resort fee for no swimming pool, no spa, no fitness center. What is the resort fee for? Also none of the restaurants were open during our 4 day stay.

Ameristar hotel was what I would expect at a casino hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Only the fast casual restaurants were open on a Tuesday evening. The better restaurants were all closed. The front desk recommended a steakhouse that was 15 minutes away.

This property was very nice. The front desk workers provided great customer service. Staff members also greeted us in passing. The rooms were nice and spacious. I would stay here again.

I travel a LOT and my room at Ameristar was one of the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever stayed in! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Most often I don’t care too much about my room because when traveling I am not hardly ever in it! I wish I had more time to stay there, the room was so inviting and comfortable!!! But at a casino, who’s in their room? An absolute top notch stay all the way around. Zero complaints or suggestions!!
