Reasonably clean room. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The only downsides for me were that the tv was mounted to a wall in an awkward spot. Made watching it difficult, especially from bed. Also having to enter the hotel through the restaurant was slightly inconvenient. It just feels weird and awkward. Location is great, staff were helpful and friendly. Overall a great place to stay

Hotel Niwa is very nice. This is the second time we have stayed (8 nights this time). It is more expensive but the quality is excellent. Rooms are cleaned daily. There are washers and dryers which we used. No microwave in room but there is one in the laundry area. The meditation or quiet lounge is nice. The street is a couple of blocks from the main road but still close enough to train station.

The hotel and room were very nice and spacious — comparable to a standard room in the U.S., which was a pleasant surprise. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the best part was having a 7-Eleven right on-site! It made it so convenient to grab anything we needed.
The staff were polite and professional, though the front desk interaction felt a bit dry at times — possibly due to the language barrier. When we asked for help with reservations or dinner options, it didn’t feel like they were eager to assist. That said, the hotel has great dining choices either on-site or at the sister properties across the courtyard, which made meals easy and enjoyable.
The location is also excellent — close to Haneda Airport and just a short taxi or train ride to Shibuya and Shinjuku. The JR and the train station are about a 5–10 minute walk away.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. The spacious rooms, cleanliness, and convenience made it a great choice for our trip.

Nice small hotel is located close to Shibya crossing, very conveient location. It doesn't have an option for breakfast, so it's inconvient. Thanks to this inconvenience, we found out about delicious egg sandwich and milk pudding at Family Mart or 7- Eleven. My room sink didn't work properly; the sink cover didn't stay up, so water could not get drained. Bathtub was also drained very slowly.

A huge property, well-located, with helpful staff. Now if only they could do something about the weak WiFi. I might bring up a first webpage, but after that it was invariably impossible to get any further. I had to go out to Lawson's on the corner to find reliable WiFi.

Everything was great. Beds were comfy, close to everything, loved the design of the place, room could be a tiny bit bigger but otherwise all facilities incredibly new and up to date. I'd like to come back time and time again if possible
