The property was really a home away from home: clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped. Checking in and out was super easy, help, if needed, a phone call away. Bikes, beach equipment, coolers available for use free of charge and stored in the garage. Overall seamless, very pleasant experience.

The Islands at the Mauna Lani were incredible. Great location on the NW side of the island means lots of sun (and sunsets) with the occasional breeze. The villa was spotless and well stocked - really felt like a home away from home. The Islands have their own pool (which was often empty!) complete with a waterfall and a cave which proved popular with the kids. You also get access to the beach club which is a short drive or a 20 minute hike (through beautiful lava fields and fish ponds) away.

Fantastic and spacious property, super clean and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to a nice local beach. Definitely need a rental car if you’re staying here since food is generally a ways away, but if you’re okay with that I highly recommend this hotel.

For a family too big for a hotel room, this is the perfect option. Our two bedroom, three bath condo was the ideal home base, and came equipped with bikes, towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, and everything you need for any excursion around the island. The Mauna Lani area is beautiful but a little light on dining options. In exchange, you are walking distance to a great path through lava tubes, possibly the coolest fish ponds on the island, and a beach club where you can rent kayaks and also snorkel. We would absolutely go back and stay here, highly highly recommend!

Awesome!

We stayed at The Islands at Mauna Lani for 5 nights, we had a late arrival (12:30 am) and all we had to do was pick up our keys at the security office. Our unit was wonderful, it was clean and very comfortable. The staff was great, housekeeping came everyday to clean up and give us fresh towels. There is a really nice private beach for the resort which was beautiful and not crowded at all. At the end of the day, my kids loved getting in the pool which also was never crowded. The only complaint I have is that the pillows were not comfortable, My husband and I woke up everyday with sore necks and shoulders. Other than that, our stay was great, my kids did not want to leave! Even when we were on the plane headed home, my 6 year old kept saying "I want to go back to K3", which was the unit we stayed in. My husband said he will never stay at a hotel after our experience at The Islands. I definitely recommend The Islands and would stay there again without hesitation.

The property as a whole was wonderful. The unit we stayed in needed a little update, furniture was very well used, spots on the carpet and marks on walls. But those things did not effect our enjoyment of the property as a whole. Loved having a garage available and the private beach club was perfect with a very swimmable beach. Krystal at the office was very helpful and addressed any of our concerns quickly.I would definitely recommend and return to this property.

Good value if you pay 3-4 star prices

It was advertised as having two double beds in the second bedroom, but had two single beds instead. Property manager (Destination Resorts) were unreliable when it came to communication and ignored numerous attempts at contact via text and voicemail. Outdated furnishings in the unit. With some sprucing up and better communication this could be a five star property.

Home in paradise

Wonderful property, furnished well, very nicely decorated, and very comfortable with lots of space, and quite private and quiet. Close to market and shops and restaurants, highway, and beach as well. There was a mix-up with the check-in due to going through hotels.com/expedia, partly due to shortened COVID hours, but after that, communication was easy, and very prompt maid service on request.

Hawaii at its best

Condo was in a great location to beach and shops. Pool was a great place to relax after the day at the beach. BBQ’s and plenty of dining space if you wanted to cook out at the pool. Condo was spacious and stylish with amazing decks to take in the stars at night or relax during the day.

とても広く静かでよいリゾートです。各部屋は広くて、リラックスできます。キッチンの調理器具も充実しています。ラナイにあるBBQグリルの操作も簡単です。部屋からプールへのアクセスは近く、プール横にあるスパは温泉の様に温かく快適です。リゾート内を送迎するシャトルバスが利用できるので夜の食事で安心してお酒を飲めます。ただし。マウナラニホテルは現在改装中で行けません。2020年1月に再オープン予定です。

Spacious and clean property. Very well stocked. We absolutely would stay here again! The office was a bit difficult to find. Other than that the office staff were very accommodating, responsive, and had great recommendations. We also enjoyed the gecko hanging out. There is a typical pest issue including wasp nests above our lanai. A minor issue. It was a lovely stay.
