The charming Geißberghaus, a holiday home with a historic ambience, is located in Unterweid, a district of Kaltennordheim in the middle of the border triangle of Hesse, Bavaria and Thuringia in the Thuringian Rhön biosphere reserve. It is particularly suitable for a holiday with family or a group of friends.

Nature lovers can explore the beautiful surroundings with romantic valleys, moorland and unique flora and fauna while hiking or cycling. Excursion destinations include: Rhönwald adventure world (2 km), Fladungen open-air museum (12 km), Rhön star park in Geisa (14 km), Wasserkuppe (15 km), Trusetal dwarf park (32 km) and the Bad Hersfeld monastery ruins (38 km).

A pettel stove in the living area creates a pleasant atmosphere and the cozy seating area in the natural garden invites you to linger and rewind. Here you will find rest and relaxation after an active day of vacation.
