I was a little concerned that there was no AC but with the ocean breeze and ceiling fans there was absolutely no need for it. Loved the view on the balcony and a short walk to lots of restaurants. Very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Top floor of a 7 story condo in Kona. Great breezes coming from the ocean and blowing right through. End unit so only one shared wall. Very quiet neighbors. Walkable to the ocean and downtown Kona. Really liked it.

Great location!

Amazing location to downtown and beach! Hot without AC, but doable with fans and breeze. Clean property and responsive host. Giving a 5 star on the app, but probably would say 4.6 for uncomfortable couch and bed, but we would recommend and we will stay again!

Perfect for our needs

Great spot in the heart of downtown Kona with a great ocean view from the patio and short walk to Huggo’s and other restaurants/shops. We very much appreciated the fans since there is no air conditioning — not a deal breaker for us but something to consider in the hotter seasons. The place had beach gear also (towels, nice chairs, good umbrella) which was really nice. Overall really enjoyed our stay and we hope to return sometime soon!

Great view, Great Stay for a week in paradise

Condo came on recommendation of friends who stayed here last year. Clean and newly remodeled. Fabulous view from balcony. Location is easy walk to restaurants, shops, bars, etc. Laundry in building. Management company is very easy to work with and responds quickly to any issues. Would stay here again in an instant.

Perfect Stay!

We loved staying in this condo! The view was spectacular, everything was clean and updated and we received clear communication from the property manager. Even the laundry area was nice. We used the chairs and cooler for trips to the beach. Neighbors living in nearby units were friendly. My husband and I were able to walk to restaurants etc easily (we are in our 40s, but noted that an older couple like our parents would probably have difficulty with this.) Would definitely stay here again.

Knutson's kept providing updates on location, the access plans, etc, and when contacted about a minor issue, were no problem to deal with. The Unit is situated within the Kona restaurant area, with all tastes catered for. I would happily recommend Knutsons and I would also stay there again.

I was able to enjoy a typical Hawaiian stay in my favorite city of Kona.

The view of Hawaii from the 7th floor lanai was amazing. It was convenient and had everything needed for cooking. However, if possible, some of the levers on the glass windows in the bathroom and bedroom were broken, so I think it would be a good idea to repair them. I thought it would be nice to have a door between the bedroom and bathroom as the noise from Kuakini Highway was loud late at night. However, the view is great and the location is good, so I would like to use it again.

It was walking distance to many great shops and restaurants, close to the highway to get to other destinations, and close to the water with a beautiful view. The unit was clean and spacious for two people. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to prepare meals instead of going out. Only residents with a key could access the elevator or stairs, which was a great feature for making us feel safe. We would definitely stay here again.

The shower was poorly designed with a half door on it so it was impossible not to get water on the floor. There wasn’t air conditioning and even with the windows open, we were hot at night while trying to sleep.

Condo for Two with Fabulous View

The location offered a great view from the deck where we enjoyed morning coffee/evening cocktails while watching the various types of activities out on the water. The unit was clean, comfortable and stocked with all we needed. We especially appreciated that there were beach towels & a cooler to use for day trips. We were able to keep the unit cool w/o AC with the fans provided and open doors/windows plus that great ocean breeze. Papa Kona's had great food. A Bay's had good music. Kona Canoe Club had good Mai Tais. We'd definitely stay at Kailua Village again. The Cloud Forest Sanctuary nearby was a worthwhile guided nature hike.
