Kahaluu Bay Across from Snorkel Beach - Awesome Ocean View

Ideally located just across the beach from Kahalu'u Beach Park. This is a great place to stay if you like to snorkel, surf and swim. If not, it is close to everything else.

Easily accessible, convenient and with good under water scenery, Kahalu'u Bay is the most user friendly Snorkel Beach on the island. Unit is large and has had recent upgrades.

The pool and BBQ overlooking the bay make a great spot to relax and congregate after a day of exploring and shopping!

And don't forget the awesome view

Excellent visit to the island

Had a fun birthday visit to the Big Island. Great place to stay with my family. All possible amenities were available when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again.

Quite a nice place

Fully furmished 2 bedroom, two bath with a great view in a third floor walkup. Also has a foldout sofa bed, a nice selection of beach gear. A quiet pool, off street parking, and responsive owners. It suited our needs very well.

Great stay for wholefamily

This was a great location for snorkeling and surfing which was right across the street. We had toddlers and grandparents and it worked well for everyone. Well stocked withe gear and necessities. Host very helpful and responsive.

Kona

Duane is an attentive host. Many items such as beach chairs, coolers and kids toys were very helpful. Property location is ideal. We enjoyed watching the surfers from the couch. Will stay here again.

Perfect family retreat

Clean and spacious apartment right next to some great snorkeling. Tidepools there were perfect for our toddler to splash around. We used the pool and BBQ multiple days and watched the sunset. The road out front is busy, but it's a very convenient location for day trips

Above and beyond expectations

I can't say enough good things about this property. I have three teenagers and they absolutely loved it. It was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was honestly one of the best Airbnb we've stayed in. The owner was great, and readily available for anything.The location is perfect, it has amazing snorkeling and a great beginner break to boogie board and surf. The property has everything there, which is amazing! I like it because it's not as crowded as some other spots. It's about a mile to the Kta and some restaurants.The pool is also very well maintained. We would snorkel during the day and then use the awesome grill and hang out at the pool.Another thing I didn't even realize is that it was air conditioned.The lanai is so nice. I loved having my morning coffee there and then watching the beautiful sunset at night.You really can't go wrong with this property!

Great apartment

Apartment is on 3rd floor with a balcony facing the ocean with an ocean view of surfing, snorkeling and sunsets. Property also has a nice little pool to play in. We would definitely try to stay there again next time in Kona.

Beautiful sunset views, view of surfers, close to best snorkeling. They have everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, some basic condiments, all the beach and picnic items you would need - beach chairs, umbrellas, boards, cooler, towels, etc. Owners are quick to respond and care about your stay. Will stay again.

Beautiful home

The pool area was amazing, your own oasis. The condo was beautiful, the pictures doesn't so it justice. Full of beach equipment, towels and everything else like TP.

The views are very hard to beat. The beach across the street was the best snorkeling we did in Hawaii. The condo is very well stocked with everything you will need and then some. Don't pass this place by. The owner was very helpful and recommended some great places to eat.

Fantastic location and view

What a wonderful gem! We took our adult kids with us for Christmas week and stayed in this condo. The kitchen was well equipped and the beach amenities were a hit. We had a wonderful day trip to the volcano park. The beach across the street was amazing and a short walk to surf or snorkel. The owner was super responsive!

Homey base for snorkeling

We were happy to be away from the hustle and bustle of town, yet close enough to drive in for a dinner. Also close to other restaurants that didn’t require paid or comp’d parking. Home was clean and sunny and well loved. Better weather would have encouraged us to check out the pool but it was great having the surfers and sunset to watch from the third floor lanai!

View, location and convenience in Kailua Kona

We were very satisfied with the rental in August on the western side of the big island. From the balcony we viewed beautiful sunsets every evening. The kitchen was fully stocked with necessities. In addition to lots of dishware and cooking pots. There was foil, wraps, seasonings, a full kitchen, paper towels and napkins. We enjoyed driving to great places around the island. The laundry in the unit came in very handy too,

Ideal location

Within eyesight of snorkel/surf beach at Kahalu'u. Close to shopping and restaurants, but far enough away from downtown so as not to feel crowded. Sunsets every night were spectacular. Whales and dolphins cruised by almost every evening we were there. Pool was just perfect for late afternoon cooldowns. and the AC made the inside living area perfectly comfortable.....when we weren't out on the deck enjoying the killer view. We loved it.

Absolutely perfect!!!

The condo was an absolute gem for our vacation. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the bay, especially during sunset, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
