The Space: Guests will find themselves in the perfect area for exploring the island with a variety of activities nearby. Magic Sands Beach Park is simply a stroll across the street, Keolonahihi State Historical Park is a quick drive up the road, and downtown Kailua is a short and scenic drive up the coast with dining and shopping options. Onsite, enjoy the resort’s beautiful pool and hot tub area with lush landscaping and partial ocean views, plus a shared game room and grill area.
We provide 2 beach chairs and 1 cooler for guest use.
Hale Kunu is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo, perfect for a small family or group of friends. This standout unit features a private lanai with peaceful views of the resort pool and even a peek of the blue ocean beyond. The lanai is fully furnished as an outdoor living space with comfortable seating, outdoor dining, and overhead fan.
Inside, visitors are greeted into an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room. The updated kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and ample counter space for convenient and delicious meals at home. Choose from casual dining at the kitchen counter or a more formal meal at the dining table set for 6. Cozy couches offer a respite from the sun where you can kick back with a good movie or favorite show on the smart tv.
This home sleeps 6 guests between 2 private bedrooms and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king size bed, tv, balcony access, and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.
Bedroom #2 has 2 twin size beds.
THINGS TO NOTE: The home has an additional bathroom with walk-in shower. 1 parking space is provided. Washer and dryer in unit. Step Free Guest Entrance Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property, on the premises, and in any nearby common areas. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine, plus any additional costs for carpet and upholstery cleaning or other damages caused.
Attention: For safety and cleanliness, infants who are not potty trained are not permitted in the pool. Please use the designated kiddie pool for children who are not potty trained. Please note: Any accidents in the pool will result in a closure of 5-7 days for cleaning and a $2,500 fine. Diapers, including swim diapers, do not prevent contamination from occurring. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our pool safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Set amidst a backdrop of lush tropical landscapes, Hale Kunu is your oasis for relaxation and rest. But when you’re ready to get out and explore, you’re minutes away from the very attractions that draw visitors to the island. Kealakekua Bay is one of the best snorkeling spots in the entire state of Hawaii due to its spectacular coral reefs. Keauhou Bay has some of the best snorkeling on the planet, with the night dives among Manta Rays being an experience you’ll never forget. Explore Hawaiian history when visiting the nearby petroglyphs, ancient rock carvings dating all the way back to the 16th century.
When in Hawaii, you must of course make the most of the many beaches, hikes, and water activities available. Make sure you also dive into the unique culture of Kona, where coffee shops source beans straight from Kona coffee farms, Big Wave Golden Ale is brewed fresh at the Kona Brewpub, and local farmers markets are teeming with artisan goods and just-harvested produce.
