Welcome to this beautifully furnished 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom ground-floor unit at Kona Reef, where tropical décor, ocean views, and modern comforts come together to create an unforgettable island getaway. Step onto your spacious lanai and take in the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean just steps away. This unit has been fully renovated to offer an ideal blend of style and functionality, perfect for couples or small groups.

*Kona Reef is performing spalling on "A" building starting 2/3/26-3/31/26. Lanais will be inaccessible, there will be noise and dust from construction. Parking will be limited. Complex work is permitted Mondays-Fridays. Spalling is on-going at the complex through 2026, please inquire for more information. Exterior concrete repair and painting work is part of a resort-wide project anticipated to occur between January 5, 2026 and April 13, 2027. While work may not be taking place directly on your unit or stack during your stay, construction activity elsewhere or nearby buildings may result in intermittent noise during weekday work hours (Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather, crew availability, or unforeseen conditions. Construction-related noise, restricted lanai access, or inconvenience does not qualify for refunds, discounts, or compensation. Please inquire directly for more information.

We stayed here with our 5 and 7 year old and it was a perfect setup. It had all the kitchen amenities you need and it was clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again. Loved being right on the water. Definitely recommend!

Perfection in Paradise

I can't think of anything about this vacation rental that could have made it better - perfect location (on the beach and within walking distance to Kona Village) perfect size, beautifully decorated, lovely hot tub and pool and very friendly people. I'm sure it's the best vacation rental we've ever had.

Had a wonderful 6 night stay at Kona Coast. Had one small issue with the unit smelling a bit of mold, however, after speaking g to the management, they came out and cleaned out the air filter to the AC unit and the problem was resolved. Thank you for the quick action.

Amazing place!

We had an absolutely amazing vacation! The high light of our stay was the condo. Perfect location to all the shops and shopping down Alii drive, the sunset views….omg you can’t get any better at any other location! We were there over Christmas and New years and really enjoyed the location. Love that the Kona Reef is really chill and peaceful. By far just sitting on the gorgeous lanai and reading and watching the waves and relaxing was the high light of our trip! Don’t hesitate on this one!! We’re already looking at booking again next year!

Wonderfully relaxing

Kona Coast A6 is perfect for a getaway. The listing represents accuracy. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need (except food). Comfy bed. We enjoyed watching surfers and sunsets from the comfort of our lanai. Location is walkable from Kailua- Kona town with restaurants and shops.

Awesome location!

We loved Kona Reef. The unit is oceanfront, ground floor. We loved waking up, drinking coffee, sitting out on the lanai, and watching the waves, boats and friendly people pass by. We walked to town often to grab breakfast, dinner or other items we needed. There was no cooking on this trip with so many good restaurants close by. The location was perfect. The unit had everything we needed. We did purchase our own pool towels and then found the ones in the unit on the 3rd day. We will return to Kona Reef!

A Great Spot

We’ve been to the Kona Reef four times. It’s our preferred accommodation for the location, amenities and atmosphere. A6 was the loveliest appointed of the three apartments at which we’ve stayed in Kona Reef. The appliances were all new or in perfect working order and there is AC in the bedroom as well are the living areas. We would definitely return. The only thing we would add is a lighted makeup mirror as the lighting in the bathroom is not the best for that sort of thing. But after a couple of days in the sun who needs makeup? Aloha.

Big Island Vacation

The condo was cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the view of the ocean from our lani. The pool area was very clean and plenty of room for everyone. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and the air conditioning refreshing. We used the snorkel sets which were perfect for us. The kitchen area was small but had plenty if dishes, utensils and food preparation tools for a vacation stay. A few things that would have been nice to have provided were a few more seasonings beyond salt and pepper, a small cooler for drinks and snack for thevpool or beach. The pull out bed needs a better mattress and a washable mattress pad. The mattress was very uncomfortable for our not so particular 11 year old. The mattress was covered with hair, dust and dry skin from multiple uses. We had to vacuum it off and hope for the best. We enjoyed staying in this unit which became our home away from home for a week.

Love Kona Reef for the Sunsets

This was our 3rd stay at the Kona Reef and the best condo so far. Clean. Gorgeous view of the sunset from the patio each night. Bed actually firm-ish! Beds in Hawaii are usually terrible and saggy but this mattress must be newer. Very happy about that. The only concern is that as of our stay this week first week of September there is construction in the unit next door. I’m talking table saw on the patio and drilling cabinets into the wall directly attached to our bedroom starting at 8:15 AM. We booked in May when it wasn’t noted of construction starting in July. To the property manager’s credit they had a very quick response to my concern when we arrived and refunded us a little bit to help resolve things. It’s not their fault this is still going on. But that said, do not book a stay here if you want peace and quiet and only to hear the ocean until you can confirm the construction is over with. I have nothing but positive things to say about the property manager or the unit otherwise and will try to book it again next year!

Outstanding Kona Oceanfront Location

This oceanfront, ground floor unit was spectacular. Absolutely gorgeous views off of the lanai, and a 2-3 min walk to restaurants, bars, in town. Outstanding pool facility, loved the entire property. Will definitely be back again. Unit was well equipped, everything in great condition, and the communication was great from start to finish. On-site parking. Can’t say enough good things.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The Lanai is perfect and our 11 year old enjoyed spending hours in the tide pools right out front of the property. Pool and hot tub were clean and comfortable and covered parking was a bonus since we had a downpour for the first two days. Would highly recommend for families or couples!!

Great vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in A6 of the Kona Reef Resort. It was exactly how the pictures showed. There were games to play, beach accessories to use, and it was very clean. Great location as well. Thanks for a great trip for our first time to Kona.
