"Breakfast was very good. View from the hotel was very good. Even though it's stated there was access to the beach...it proved impossible as the gates and stairs that led to the beach had a huge drop of several feet...impossible to achieve for older guests. So we had to walk outside and up about 100mtrs then go through a neglected cemetery...ridiculous! But the beach area was absolutely stunning...so was worth the effort. Staff were very average. Room 2 was very bad...dirty...mould...smelly...and old sheets with holes. Such a shame because from the property we saw the stilt fishermen every day. Beautiful sea birds diving for the fish. "

"Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good quality and value. There is also a fantastic restaurant just opposite if you want a change. The personnel were all brilliant, helping whenever they had to, and replenishing cold water bottles when we on our sun beds. We had 2 lovely and memorable nights and would not hesitate to return. "

"Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow. Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels don’t like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. "

"Stylish, peaceful and perfectly located for exploring the south coast. We think Ahangama is the best town for a mix of relaxation and great dining options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the breakfasts were a real highlight. A lovely boutique stay... would happily return."
