"I called the hotel prior to our arrival and Elliott was able to add my Hilton Honors number to the reservation so we could use the Hilton App for check-in, pay for the overnight parking in advance, and use the digital key for parking entry and going straight to our room. The hotel and the room were clean and inviting. The pillows weren't the greatest but we made due as we were only on-site for one night. The only issue we experienced was with the pocket door to the bathroom. It automatically latches when closed and it was very challenging to open from the inside. I mentioned this to the person working the front desk after we checked out he indicated there shouldn't have been any difficulty but would have someone check it out. I felt like I was being placated but hopefully they do check it out and avoid the issue for the next guest. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, clean, and inviting. We would certainly consider staying again as the location was great along with the proximity to the KC Streetcar."

"I would definitely stay here again. A nice hotel and the staff was excellent. The breakfast was also very enjoyable and had a little bit of variety each day. Here's some feedback for La Quinta… 1. Fix your ice machine machines! 2. Put some towel bars in the bathrooms! A room with two queen beds is clearly meant for multiple people. However, there was a single hook on the wall. No rod to hang multiple bath towels, no place for hand towels. One single hook for everyone to share for every type of towel or wash rag. Seriously? Do you think we're gonna reuse that stuff? It's a nice hotel but somebody really didn't think that through. Standard hotel policy is to wash towels every 2 to 3 days. We're on board with that, however, if I can't hang the towel up to dry I'm not using it again. Not only is drying yourself with a still damp towel unpleasant, it's gross and unsanitary."
