Royal Gorge Cabins

"What a beautiful experience. The tent style rooms are safe and secure and very clean. They open up to spectacular Mountain Views. The restrooms/showers were maybe 100 ft from our tent, and since we stayed on a weekday they were not crowded at all. A great system in place to give you a camping feel but with comfort and security. The only downfall is they are so close to highway 50 that you can hear the traffic noise all day and night. Take ear plugs if noise bothers you."

"Very pet friendly! Was clean and everything was as described. It is remote but the drive into Cotopaxi as not too bad. Host was great to work with. Very comfortable and relaxing."

"Do not hesitate for 1 second, rent this property! You will not find more breathtaking views, from all vantage points. You can walk right down the driveway, and into the Royal Gorge Park. The house is actually massive - so much room to spread out and enjoy the views. I’ve stayed in over 40 rentals, in all sorts of environments, hands down, this is the best. Black bears were roaming (momma and cubs), and one night a herd of about 30-40 rams were grazing on the hillside, just on the other side of the driveway."

"This place was super clean and great space for our family of 5. The owner is super close so if you were to have any problems he would be right there to help. We never had a problem and loved the location. You are able to take a little hike through the back yard to see Pikes Peak but you are about 30-40 minutes from anything. Would highly recommend staying here."
Hillside Colorado Cottages near Westcliffe

"I had trouble getting the access code not because of Hillside Properties, but because I didn't have phone service. I was grateful that Shana was there cleaning when I was on my way to Westcliffe and got an access code. Then once I had internet I had service. Beautiful place and very enjoyable stay."
