"Very arty and interesting property with wonderful ambience and amenities and well equipped kitchen. Just off the 29 Palms Highway so there is some background noise. Near the park, close to commerce. Clean! Spacious. Homey. Great towels! We were really impressed with the place. Very responsive host. Wonderful place to stay!"

"Way too expensive for what it is. Room not very clean, staff not super friendly/helpful. One example: We were in the pool and noticed that there were no towels in the rack provided. No one had swam today and it was 2PM so would be surprising if they were out for the day, so likely never restocked. We asked them to get some and it took 45 min. The air was cold and my 4yo daughter didn't want to get out out and dry off in the air - I didn't either! When they brought them in they brought them in lazily, chatting the whole time and walking slowly. Nothing was going on at the hotel and it isn't like they washed them in that time, so it was likely just a matter of carrying them from A to B on the premises. The overall trip was like this - great in the pictures, nice enough, but for $400 a night (plus a $20 something a day amenity fee I didn't bargain on!) I'd never go here again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed having the Village House as our base camp for a recent trip to Joshua Tree. The house was clean and comfy, and Rob quickly answered all my questions. And who doesn't love a jacuzzi after a long day of hiking? We are so glad we found this place and would definitely stay again next time we return to the park. "

"We absolutely love this home. Super spacious and all the amenities we needed. My only suggestion will be that you guy's put more lighting in the backyard specially at night. And also the driveway light at night are to dim made it a bit difficult at night. If you guy's add more lighting and like a patio shed to be able to enjoy the jacuzzi during the day because of the sun. Besides this suggestions we loved it!"
