and I were pleasantly surprised by our stay here! For such a low rate, we weren't sure what to expect, but even though the hotel is rather small, it was nicely updated and the room was great. Updated, clean, and everything worked well. I appreciated the simple things such as a clock (most hotels never have these any more), blackout shades on the window that actually work, comfortable bedding, and a refrigerator. The only bummer was that the pool is outdoors so no swimming in...

"We spent a the July 4th week here. It was lovely. Everything about this hotel was lovely. Room service was on point. The restaurant is next to the outside patio with a firepit. That alone was enough to have many romantic moments for my husband & I to connect. My son loved the gym, restaurant and pool. He's 17 yrs old. He left us many times to explore the city. "
