Very nice property and priced very well. Unfortunately for my last stay we had no dstv in our room for the stay and the wifi was so slow. This was a one off negative tho but otherwise its my top hotel in midrand still

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is very convenient. The Mall of Africa is across the street. They also have a beautiful restaurant and bar within the hotel. Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made my first time in SA pleasant!

Our stay was comfortable however i was not happy when they wanted to charge us for late check out we our flights check in time was 2hrs later than the normal check out time.

Good but opportunities for improvement
The general keep of the hotel is fantastic however, there were situations where I was not happy. For example, when I arrived I was told that the Spa closed early on Saturday (1pm) and I checked in at 2pm and the spa was closed on Sunday. I asked to go to the bar to watch some sport, I was told the bar had reached its maximum capacity (I would expect to be given alternative venues I could go in the area). Our room was not cleaned until late afternoon. There were times when I felt the level of enthusiasm of staff was low.

I am looking into the Spa request - The arrangement is that if they have closed for the day, arrangements can be made for their staff to come through and open up for clients. I will ensure that this is re-affirmed. Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 Restriction the restaurants may only operate at 50% capacity. I will however follow up and find out why alternatives were not offered. Checkin took very long and they also did not have my booking on their system. I had ask the person to call a manager to assist him and I had to email my receipt to them. Manager came and did not greet us, so welcoming at frontline desk to improve.
