Wow. What a lovely, modern hotel. I was thrilled with our room. It was very comfortable and homey. So clean and tastefully decorated. Especially loved the second restaurant on the top floor; great place for late night cocktails and snacks. Highly recommended.

Extremely polite and friendly staff, taking care of our every need. Only one persistent problem with the toilet spraying water with each flush.

I'll share my experience from Oct 12 to Oct 17. First day, I checked in around 9am. It was too early but they kindly let me check in & gave me a room & I went to the room 420. My situation at that time was after over 20hours flight so I went to a restroom & opened an urinal. I literally got shocked because of witnessing a disastrous no2 sight. It was absolutely traumatic experience I never forget for the rest of my life. Then gave me another room 410 (no upgrade). As for the damage control, the manager dropped by to aplogize the situation. Then, I received assorted plate. By witnessing that site, I was not in the mode of eating. Breakfast was nice. Room cleaning was ok. (tissue box started to be put after 3 nights) It was located a few mins walk to mall of Africa. Gym, I didn't use it.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is very convenient. The Mall of Africa is across the street. They also have a beautiful restaurant and bar within the hotel. Lastly, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made my first time in SA pleasant!
