There are a number of restaurants fairly close. The yakiniku restaurant gets booked up pretty quick so be sure to make a reservation. The former Sanada residence and military school are worth taking a look at too. They are just a couple of minutes away. The hotel itself is fresh and clean, with free sparkling wine, beer and snacks...
