"The room was clean. Smaller than expected, but fine for two people. The bed was comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Elevators were small and very busy. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but it was nice it was available. Location was perfect for what we needed - close to a few subway lines and easy to walk over to the ferry and Statue of Liberty viewing."

"The staff were warm and welcoming; efficient and thorough. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a tub in the bathroom and it was spacious. The only complaint is the traffic noise. I had earplugs which helped."

"Not worth staying here. Place was very dated, flooring and carpets are in horrible shape, stained; the lobby furniture was dated and stained as well; the main entrance door glass was loaded with fingerprints and just grimy looking. There were no pillowcases on the pillows for one of our beds, no hand towels or hand soap in the bathroom—the minimum things most guests would expect. The thermostat can’t be adjusted at all to make the room cooler/warner; elevators are the slowest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. WiFi was spotty. Not much in the way of staff-seems a bit of a skeleton crew. The staff that was there was pleasant enough. I would not stay here again though and definitely would not recommend. "

"Very clean comfortable room and bed. Excellent bathroom with a rainfall shower and two sinks. Beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Very friendly professional staff. Could not possibly have asked for more"

"Wonderful stay at The Beekman and exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly accommodating with my request for a room with a specific view and the room itself was clean and incredibly unique and eclectic. The bed was lovely, breakfast was scrumptious, and overall I loved my stay here and will certainly be back."
