Good & Safe Location
If you wish to stay at the heart of establishments..from grand indonesia to tanah abang to thamrin city to sarinah plus the landmarks nearby...then this hotel is for you...however the staff is not so friendly & allow smoking in the dining area...even if they only serve simple breakfast the coffee taste good anyway..what else you need when you are just staying for a few days and all you care is a good night sleep...aside from the availability of taxis & motorcab outside the hotel there are many restaurants and streetfoods along the road you can choose...just walk around the corner it is all short distance...the location is good and safe!

The hotel has great potential but was not value for money. No fridge; no tea/coffee making facilities; you could pick up the security safe and carry it away! The card-door opening system was hopeless; EVERY DAY had problems opening the door; had to get the cards re-activated; get someone from management to let me into my room. Lack of English language at Reception an issue. I will not be recommending the hotel to friends to stay

Food everywhere, strategically located near malls.
My regular hotel each time. Friendly staff, basic amenities, comfortable bed, and cheap. Food is not an issue. Just walk out of the hotel, turn right and the whole street is full of delicious street food. Three convenience store available for your last minute needs. A pharmacy is also open till midnight, just in case.

A compact urban hotel with easy access to things
Were in Jakarta for a visit to see friends and discover a bit of the city life. Hotel was well located and offered convenient access to most points of interest. We were there during holidays so roads were much more manageable than usual.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights with my cousins. This is not the first time I stay in a budget hotel so I do have some certain expectations from budget hotels. I have stayed in the Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong and Rotana Hotel in Muscat so I know precisely what budget hotels are all about. Originally I booked through Expedia since I was not sure how to book through this hotel online. Check-in took very long since my Expedia reservations was different than the records on the hotel reservations. My Expedia reservation was honored. However, upon entering our rooms I was very shocked by what I saw. Not only were the rooms too small, but extremely dirty as well. The rooms smelled like sewer, the towels had black spots on them, there are toothbrushes but no toothpastes in the bathroom, the toilet was very small (trust me when I tell you its too small for comfort,) and the overall experience was just disgusting. One of my cousins had skin issues during the hotel and upon checking out he felt better. The best part is that there was a sign in the bathroom that says “To conserve environment, towels are changed every 3 days unless they are placed on the floor!” Yuck! I definitely do not recommend staying in this hotel and would advise to look for another hotel. The location of the hotel is great, but the dirty rooms are not worth the trouble.

Decent hotel
Max One hotel lies on the centrally-located (Monas and Gambir train station are a mere 15-20 minutes' walk away) Jalan Sabang (old name for Jalan Agus Salim), which is one of the best food streets in Jakarta (you can find delicious gudeg, Garuda nasi padang, tahu telor, etc. here!). This was a clean and comfortable hotel, although not very quiet due to street noise. But it was nothing that a good set of earplugs couldn't mitigate. Unfortunately the quietest rooms at the back, away from the street din, are all twin or single rooms. Finally, it is annoying having to re-login to the wifi everytime you leave or return to the room level!

Loved this hotel!
We stayed for three nights and our first stop in Indonesia. Really like this quirky chain of hotels from the artwork to the do not disturb dials on the door. Nice comfortable room with a really comfy bed. Great location close to restaurants, the National monument and main railway station. Breakfast buffet was ok but mainly Indonesian food. Cereal and toast kept us going. Nice staff and decent coffee shop on the ground floor.

My very disappointed experience: 1.) Check in to first room (Happiness room) The room were dark, aircon with squeaking noise, and TV channels were blurred. Hotel management send in a technician. End up changing to another room. 2.)Breakfast served with limited choices, no fruits at all. 3.) Request a hair dryer after bath. And surprisingly, NO HAIR DRYER available? I sincerely hope the hotel could put more effort in providing comfort and convenience to visitor.

This hotel is great for solo getaway. The room is small, but clean with all the necessities. The service was awesome too, everyone was really helpful to accommodate my needs of comfort. If i'll have another chance, ill definitely come back here again.

Roaches to the Max
Check in was fast and painless but upon checking into room l saw roaches on walls, in bathroom, 1 on the bed. They are also not afraid of light or humans and not running and hiding. They know they here to stay ha. Anyway I was just there to keep bags in the room, early flight so no sleeping, went straight to clubs, and the rainfall shower was nice. I don't blame hotel so much cuz the problem is sabang is night market food area (which is great) but very old part of city so lots of trash nightly equals lots of bugs and rats late night. I only saw the roaches in the room tho. Killed about 7. Kept bags zipped tight and no stowaways made it to my next city and hotel. Great location- but not sure they could ever do pest control in an old hotel on such a dirty street. Good shower and big enough for storage tho..

3C ( Comfortable, Convenient, Cheap) Hotel
I have stayed twice in this Hotel. Very conveniently located in Sabang, Thamrin area and also most Taxi Drivers ( Blue Bird) know this Hotel if you just tell them Sabang and then Maxone Hotel... so getting around is easy. Sabang is an old district with lots of street side food stalls in the night and moreover close to Jakarta Business District. Taxis are available throughout the day.. Priced well this is a Value for Money kind of Hotel for short business trips or short holiday... Amenties inside the hotel are bare minimum (no safebox, just 2 electric plug points not fridge) but enough for a comfortable stay.

i booked the hotel before arrival. I was given a smoking room even though I requested for a non smoking room. i have repeatedly reminded expedia.com but nothing was done. I am very disappointed with expedia.com and the hotel. Bedsheet is clean. Good selection of cable TVs. It has Nat Geo, Discovery Science, Discovery, TLC, CNN, HBO, AXN, Star Tian Ying, Disney, TV5 Monde, Fox Sports. hotel corridors are not air conditions, exposed to outside noise pollution, thus the rooms are noisy. Every morning I heard neighbour doors slamming. People walk loud at the corridors. Cleaners and guess made terrible noise upstairs. Aircond is not working properly even though I have called for a service and the service man came. The room is a bit too dark. Wall paint freaking off. Bath room shower area is dirty. No fridge. I will not return to this hotel at all.

はじめてのジャカルタ滞在、土日で2泊利用。 立地・・・ホテル周辺は週末だったこともあるが、屋台街で混雑し、道は汚く歩きづらい。バスは危険、地下鉄は通っていないので、移動はGrabtaxiを使ったので、ホテルの立地の良さを感じることはなかった。 施設・・・タオルのサイズがバスタオルのみ、小さめのサイズが配置されていない。ヘアドライヤーは、スタッフにお願いして借りたが、取っ手の蝶番が壊れているし、風向きを変えるパーツがないし、ホテルで出すクオリティではなかった。ボディーソープ兼シャンプーがポンプ式で設置されていたが、使う気にならず、コンビニで固形石鹸を買った。 清潔さ・・・デザインできれいに見せているが、清潔感は感じなかった。ベッドの下には、何かの顆粒が落ちていた。シャワールームの掃除がいまいち、2泊目はシャワールームの床に髪の毛が残っていた。

市中心離小吃很近
飯店位置很棒，離Monas和tj Bank Indonesia站很近，晚上整條街都是小吃和餐廳。超市和換錢的也在30公尺內。飯店房間比較小且會有小螞蟻，除此之外服務和清潔都還不錯。

Nice designer hotel
MaxOne is a medium priced designer hotel chain, I used the one in Central Jakarta close to Monument Nasional. Since the hallway had an open connection with outside you could hear some street noise in your room. You needed a room card to use the elevator but the card reader did not work too well. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice coffee shop and breakfast. Close to a Transjakarta bus stop.

とにかく立地がいい。ガンビール駅から徒歩圏内であるので、早朝空港に向かうためにここのホテルを選んだ。ガンビール駅から空港バスに乗るのに便利が良かった。近くにショッピングセンターはあるし、夜になれば、前に通りに屋台もでるので特に困ることもない。ホテルの部屋は狭いが、まあまあ綺麗で問題なかった。

Gute Lage, mehr nicht!
Hotel liegt ca. 20min vom Bahnhof Gambir und vom Nationalmunument entfernt. Es gibt ein Begrüßungsgetränk. Zimmer sind sehr klein und hellhörig. Es war sehr laut in der Nacht. Die Zimmer waren nicht ganz sauber. Aufgrund unserer sehr frühen Abreise konnten wir das Frühstück nicht wahrnehmen, einen Ersatz oder Kostenerstattung gab es nicht. Das am Vorabend bestellte Taxi war nicht da.
