"We stayed in the apartment which was really spacious, it is a fabulous house with well thought out decor.
Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless.
Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming.
The town is just a short walk with some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from.
Overall a fabulous stay."
"Lovely property. I arrived late and left early so didn’t spend much time there but it had everything I needed. Breakfast options were good and the room was quiet.
Only slight gripe was that the iron in the laundry room wasn’t brilliant and took a while to iron a skirt. "
"The building is run down the hotel had semi permanent residents who looked like they were waiting for interviews with the government for residency in this country also families who must be waiting for social housing cars were being repaired on the carpark area kids running riot it seems more like a block of unloved flats. We didn't get out of the car couldn't see any signs for reception my partner was completely disheartened by the sight before her and was adamant that she would not stay there...
"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"As a solo female traveller, I really like this hotel. It’s basic, but clean and friendly and I feel very safe.
As it is a training centre, there are lots of groups of people, but also other solo travellers. I probably wouldn’t use this hotel for a socks trip, but for work it is ideal.
Dinner and breakfast are good, it is a buffet style and included in the price. I like this a lot, as generally I will not have dinner alone, but here, it is perfectly acceptable to do so, without standing out.
The gym is adequate and never busy.
The rooms are basic, but clean and quiet, and you have everything you need. "
"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean.
Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared.
A book regarding the building was also an interesting read.
We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any cooked option you wanted.
Would definitely stay again, could not fault."
Ride a lakeside miniature train, cross the water on the Miss Elizabeth and use the talking pipes to get through the maze on this vast and picturesque estate.
