"This was a lovely renovated home, with a beautiful dining room and a sunny enclosed porch where we had our morning coffee. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable, and there were nautical touches throughout. Although we had read about the somewhat awkward arrangement of the bathrooms - the only bathroom upstairs is the master bath, so guests in the other two bedrooms must either walk through that bedroom or go downstairs to get to a bathroom during the night - it was a little more troublesome than we had anticipated, so just be aware of that issue. But it was a great base to explore Acadia’s fall colors, and to retreat at night to our cosy beds!"

"The three of us had plenty of bedrooms and the two bathrooms were just right for us. The neighborhood is very quiet and nicely dark at night. Having access to the beach was a nice plus. The location on the “quiet side” was much better for us than the hubbub of Bar Harbor. The furnishings were comfortable and the TV worked well for us when we were back at night. The kitchen was well equipped. All in all a great place to stay."

"Very convenient location in a super cute town. Close to Acadia National Park and other areas. We were there at the tail end of the season so it was pretty quiet, but we enjoyed that aspect. The suite had everything we needed for our stay."

"This is a beautiful property and such a fun and interesting experience as well. The host was great and got back to me instantly whenever I reached out. I only wished it was clear in the description that it is not heated, but offers space heaters ans a nice fireplace instead. We arrived too late to start a fire and didn't know the heaters were available, or where to find them, so the first night was quite chilly. It was all part of the adventure of staying in a remote location like this though and we made many fun lifelong memories while here. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the same experience!"

"We loved our stay! Seal Harbor is much quieter than Bar Harbor, which was a positive for us. This house is walkable to the bike rental shop and then ridable to the carriage roads and hiking trails. There is a handicap accessible bathroom and bedroom on the main floor and four bedrooms, 1.5 baths upstairs. There is even a ramp in the garage if that is needed for accessibility. The back deck opens to wooded forest. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. The garage has room for your bikes. There are some puzzles, books, and games available. There are no grocery stores and extremely limited restaurant options so plan ahead before you drive down. If you are visiting to bike and hike the carriage roads and visit Acadia, this is the place to stay!"

"Feedback:Loved the location. Convenient to the beach and bike rental shop. Easy drive to Bar Harbor.The kitchen is well equipped for quick meals, but there is no dishwasher. Small Safety issue - A light is needed by the front door near the entrance so that the dark staircase can be safely navigated at dark. It was hard to see.Bathroom:Towel bar kept falling apart. One end bracket was very loose and needed to be re attached. The plumbing fixture over the sink was too large, A nice design but such a large size fixture over the sink made it hard to use the sink.Main bedroom:The top dresser drawer is broken. Suggest they invest in some sturdier furniture.The deck is not accessible from the unit. You have to exit the unit downstairs walk to the rear of the unit and climb a flight of stairs to access the deck. By and large, I really liked our little abode!"
