"This was my 60th birthday gift from my husband. What a gift! Clean, quiet, beautiful. My husband couldn't stay out of the water. He snorkeled and found a yellow sea horse hiding in the coral just off the deck. It was a joy to swim, snorkel, relax in the hammock and watch the sea that behaves like a lake. Phillip is a great host; making your stay easy and comfortable. Next time though, I'll take some videos to watch in bed."

"Upon arrival.. the property floors was covered in dust and debris. The sheets and pillows on the bed in the master bedroom was filthy and had a terrible smell of a man body odor. Master bathroom smell like old urine and the mirror had white spots on it. Both master bathroom rugs was dirty and had black debri on them. "Only stayed for one night (Thursday), but the hotel was perfect for us! The only thing to be mindful about is the constant requests for taxis or tours (or what our plans are for tomorrow) at the nearby businesses on the street. But there’s not much the hotel can do about that, and it may be helpful for some tourists. "

"The Red Frog Resort is a beautifully located area. Although it rained for most of the time, the beach and property are amazing. We saw sloths, monkeys and of corse the red frogs throughout our stay. "Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is right on the water. It is on a smaller, more secluded island, which is only a 2 minute boat taxi from the main island. The hosts were attentive, they helped us book day tours around the different islands. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and well worth eating there. There is a very chilled atmosphere in the hotel which is ideal for the island feeling. We spent a lot of time in the pool, it was clean and fresh, overlooking the ocean and some amazing sunsets. Overall, we had a wonderful time with the wonderful hosts. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a few days in paradise. "
