We absolutely loved staying here. The overwater bungalows were so enjoyable to experience. The staff was very attentive and are fluent in English. Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed.

This place was perfect. The nature walk right by the hotel had monkeys, sloths, red frogs and all the birds you could want to see. It was all amazing. I would choose this place every time I came to Bocas del Toro.

This was the exact place we were looking to find for our 30th anniversary. The atmosphere at Eclypse was calming and zen like, so much fun staying in our private hut. Being able to swim right from your deck, and the surrounding grounds were fun to walk through and look for creatures. The staff was wonderful and very professional.

Our GO-TO paradise in Bocas area!

The Eclipse has it all. Great views, swimming right off of steps from our room, central location a short water taxi ride from Bocas Town and great beaches, exceptional service and good food, and a fun jungle walk where staff helped us to find a sloth and cayman. We'd highly recommend the Eclipse!

Beautiful place to stay

Jumping into the clear water from your private bungalow each morning is wonderful. Great food and breakfast was included. On the downside the Old Bench is partying all night with the base traveling right into your bedroom. It’s a quiet retreat, if you want to party you need a water taxi which is $5 per person shared with others or $10 for just yourself. At night water taxi can go up to $20. Negotiate!

This property is a gem! We stayed a week in December and had an all around lovely stay. The bungalows were clean and so relaxing. Everyone on the staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate the guests. We went out several times on excursions with Alejandro and had A experiences. Don't bother booking water excursions in town. You can just book thru the resort. In December it was still raining most days, which made the water at the resort murky. However, Alejandro took us to clear locations for amazing snorkeling! We will definitely return.

This property is magical. It's exactly as pictured. If you want to get away from it all this is your place. The staff couldn't be more gracious. One thing to note: No real beach here. you can swim in the water but no sand. luckily a water taxi makes a beach a ride away. Make sure to bring snacks and/or cash as there is no where nearby to get either. Five stars otherwise

Beautiful over the water bungalow family stay!

Our family had a wonderful 5 night stay here! We booked a over the water bungalow and it provided a beautiful every day. The staff were great! Alejandro helped us find a sloth that was in the forest behind the hotel. Breakfast was always healthy and yummy. We had dinner once and it was tasty too. We were able to swim from our bungalow, the water was about waist deep, and even kayaked around the hotel. We booked a day tour of the area with the hotel in the third day, however it was just the three of us so they transfered us to another company they worked with. Despite the reviews about the sound/music from Bank Town, it wasn't a problem and we never used the provided ear plugs. Overall, we had a very relaxing and lovely time at Eclipse del Mar!
