"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. "It is hard to find words that truly do this gem of a cottage justice. Appleloft is situated in a very quiet and sheltered location, really allowing you to switch off from the outside world and immerse yourself in the beauty of Cornwall but within good reach of lots of places to visit and things to see. Being exceptionally well equipped, the cottage enables you to literally feel completely at home! The beds were superb and it is not an exaggeration to say that we slept like babies each and every night. My final word has to go to Robert and Carolyn who were sublime hosts. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival that contained a huge wealth of information, accompanied by tea and biscuits. They were also attentive of our stay, ensuring that we had everything we needed and being easily contactable if anything arose. To them, thank you!"
