GREAT MOUNTAIN VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW - QUIET FAMILY ORIENTED AND DOG FRIENDLY

Escape to this home away from home and experience great views of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains whilst being less than a 5 minute drive to Invermere’s downtown, beaches, and two championship golf courses (Copper Point and Eagle Ranch)! A two km walk down Walker Lane takes you to your own private beach.

The main level has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. There is a front and back deck with patio furniture from which, you have magnificent views of a forest and a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The kitchen leads into an open living area with lots of seating, and a half bathroom is situated off this living space. There is a smart TV but no cable access.

There are three bedrooms on the upper level; the master bedroom has a king bed with spectacular valley and mountain view, an en-suite with double shower and bath with huge view window. The second bedroom has two single beds, and the third bedroom is has a queen bed. These two bedrooms share another four-piece bathroom.

All linens, towels, paper and soap products are included. All you need to bring is your food!

Inveremere has something for everyone; boutique shops, coffee shops, bakery, farmer's market, quaint cinema, art galleries, spas, museum, supermarkets, deli, to name a few. There are lots of events going on throughout the year, as this area is a four season paradise!

Beautiful Lake Windermere has beaches with water sports, and the area has fabulous golf courses, including Grey Wolf at Panorama. Then of course there are the hot springs at Fairmont and Radium, to be enjoyed whatever the season. Skiing/snowboarding at Panorama, Kicking Horse, Sunshine and Lake Louise.

Keep an eye out for the wildlife, deer and lots of bird species are regular visitors here!

Please note this is a mountain retreat and family home and is not approved for parties or large adult groups. Children and dogs are welcome.. Unfortunately cats are not allowed due to the owner severe allergies.

Also please note this is a Non Smoking Property. This means there is no smoking allowed in the house or on the property.

The property is not available for long term bookings as we often use the house for family get togethers.

The house has a well stocked kitchen with plenty of linens. There are board games and puzzles. Trails right from the back door. And a stunning view of the mountains. Very clean. Very cozy.

Ski and Soak trip

Our family wanted a nice, clean house to stay at for a few days for our ski and soak trip. This home was lovely and we enjoyed everything about our trip. The owners were easy to talk to, and check in was simple. Two thumbs up!

Great choice for a 2-week stay

Nice, roomy house in a good location at a very good price. Great views of the Kootenay mountains, and nice open space right behind the house; A couple of minor glitches and a few days of less than ideal weather, but all in all we had a great 2 weeks exploring Kootenay and Banff National Parks, Panorama and other local attractions. Hope to return soon.

Peaceful vacation spot

We were very pleased to find that this house backs on to a but of greenspace which was perfect for our dog. The lake is walking distance (about 20 minutes). The owners were prompt in their replies and the space was clean.

Relaxing Family Holiday

We were pleased with the home in general. The H Owners were very helpful when I booked. We enjoyed the space out back to walk, and look after dogs needs. Most everything we needed was available and if not we were close to down town. The hot pools at Faimont and Radium were close by and relaxing. Great place for our Family stay vacation ! Thanks

Lovely home!

Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped. It can get warm in the house during the summer heat if you aren't careful to close the blinds during the day and open the windows overnight to let the cool air in. We appreciated the fans available in every bedroom. We spent time at the beach every day, and went on a fun ATV tour. A great trip with visiting family. Thank you for being dog friendly :⁠-⁠) We would definitely stay again!

Family Romp

Location, location, location! Close to town, but easy access to hiking, skiing, ice skating…the great outdoors at your fingertips. Charming town with intriguing shops, great restaurants - something for all ages. Hot springs, yup! Just a short drive away. Communication with our host was delightful with a touch of humor. The cabin was tidy and well organize with three bathroom(heaven for a group with teenagers). Only item we needed was a snow shovel. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Amazing Stay!

This was my first VRBO experience and it couldn't have gone better. I needed a place for my three boys, my dog, and myself to launch some excursions into the beautiful National Parks around Invermere. The house was exactly as described and suited all of our needs when we got home after long days of hiking. There was plenty of space to relax and three bedrooms and three bathrooms gave us the space we needed. There was an issue with us running out of hot water and the hosts were able to fix it remotely (power loss from a storm tripped the breaker) and we had hot water 30 mins after I sent a message notifying the hosts. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making our first VRBO experience a great one!

Great place to stay!

We couldn't have been more comfortable in this lovely home. It was a 3 minute drive into the main strip of Invermere and perhaps a 5 minute bike ride. There was a great biking path (27km) to Fairmont just outside the door. The home was meticulously clean and would have been perfect for families as well a adults only. We thought there would be two Queen beds, but the master has a King which was a bonus. 2nd bedroom had a queen and a third had two singles. There were lots of books and games available too. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a homey feeling on their holiday.

Enjoyed our stay and would book again.

The house was perfect for our stay, very clean and had everything we needed plus more. We arrived in town a little early and were thankful that we were given permission to check in a little early. Everything was as described or better. Our only issue was that the temperatures that weekend were extremely hot and there was no AC in the house. This was my own oversight and not the fault of the listing. I guess I just assumed that pretty much all newer houses had AC and neglected to look for that in the listing. All and all it was a great stay and we would not hesitate to book again, maybe just not in the middle of summer.

Spectacular view and very comfortable

There was so much about this place that was wonderful! We did lots of resting and walking as there are good paths in the area. The view from the kitchen and bedroom are spectacular and there are lots of comfortable chairs. It is spacious And bright. We just found that it wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been when we came and the kitchen wasn’t very well stocked in regards to the bare necessities like salt and pepper, which we went and bought and teaspoons in the drawer which we went and bought. No soap in the shower and no face cloth for washing. But those were just simple things and the rest of it was really well done! We left feeling rested and that’s why we went. We were also allowed to bring our small dog and he loved it there. Thank you! Communication with the owner was quick and easy!One suggestion: it would’ve been lovely to have the fireplace. Is it possible to put it on a timer so people can’t leave it on?
