"It was a really quirky, fun and unique property, and communicating with the host was great. The bed was comfortable, but missing the top sheet. The electrical is weird; the clothes dryer kicked out frequently. Largest complaint with this rental was cleanliness, which was subpar."

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. All the doors in the building squeak on their hinges and could benefit from some oil. Carpet in the hallway would also be good to quiet the feet going up and down the hall. There was a crack in the bathroom flooring that I thought might cut someone’s foot. There was work being done on the roof while we were there so perhaps there are other renovations being planned."

"This is an old Scottish Hotel with a modern reception, dining and extension. It has retained the best of both worlds and of course is on the sea front. We had a ground floor room in the extension with a small individual patio and facing the sea loch. We could park directly outside so bag carry was a few yards. Food excellent, perhaps over generous portions! Excellent shower ample hot water and good local toiletries. Bed large and comfortable. WiFi sound. POD based coffee. Staff excellent. Happy to go again."

"A wee bit of a Fawlty Towers experience when we went to their restaurant for dinner the first night. The hotel in general was good. Comfortable beds and best of all Haggis for breakfast!"

"Vert spacious caravan for a family of four. Its more of a portable home. Very cosy and relaxing, enjoyed listening to the rain and pitting on a dvd after a day of hikes on the Isle of Skye. Caravan had an 80s vibe. Lots of bored games for the kids. Everthing you need for kids. Great location after a full days drive. "
