"Property is older so rooms were small but beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and it was nice not to have to leave the hotel. We found good restaurants for dinner in Breakin ( Red Skye) & Bradford (Claymore) a 10-15 min drive away.
Kyleakin is a a good hour to the hikes on the Trotternish Peninsula and 30 min to Portree so you need to plan around that travel time.

"Andy and Richard couldn’t have been any more helpful than they were. We were greeted with warmth. My mum and I felt we were treated like VIPs (even though I hate that term 😆). We had the best table at breakfast. Stunning views.
If we’re ever in that area again and looking for a hotel we’d definitely return.

The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!"
