"Rosa delle Alpi is an exquisite boutique hotel with large and spacious rooms and only 12 rooms on a very large natural oversized acreage with the most incredible staff. they also have the best chefs and incredible meals for dinner at below market pricing. when we arrived late at the Varenna train station in a pouring rain storm. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in."
