"Yubune was a fantastic place to rest on our way along the Shimanami Kaidō. The property is so clean you’ll think it was opened yesterday. The staff are super helpful; they not only recommended a fantastic yakitori place for dinner, but walked us there. And the onsen is truly something else - beautiful tiled mural and just an overall fantastic space. It helps that each day the men’s and women’s onsens switch so you can get to experience both. "Amazing spot! Great rastaurant downstairs, make sure to try the food for breakfast lunch and dinner! The hotel store carries a lot of great local goods, and theres a bike rack for those of you biking through. Its right across the street from the port, so if you need to head back to the mainland, its super easy and convenient to hop on in no time."

"It was a fine stay. The room was cool with the projector for viewing and we loved the souvenir machine. We slept comfortably and the hotel was quiet. The room was fairly clean and water pressure was great for the shower. Free bottles of water in the room was nice as well. However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. "
