"We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to our messages. They also let us know about a local event, which turned out to be a fun and memorable experience for our family. The home itself was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. We especially loved the coffee bars, which were such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings even better. The view anytime of the day were absolutely spectacular, one of our favorite parts of our stay.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would gladly stay here again!"
"This is an amazing ranch property owned by a multigenerational family who stayed to fight the recent wildfire and saved the area around the ranch. This is as close as you can get to the Yellowstone (series) experience in Northern California. This vrbo is a basement studio under a ranch family member's residence, so expect some noise from above. He is very friendly and has a chill dog. The bed is one of the best we've slept in! The hot spring (basic metal tub setup with a deck and chairs) is on the ranch property nearby. You can only find it using the instructions inside the room as it's located on the ranch area across the main road and behind 2 cattle fences and across a tiny wood bridge. 4 wheel drive vehicle is advised but we made it without bottoming out in our Tesla Model 3 to both the dock location (free kayaking) and the hot spring during the dry summer, but would not try it if mud is possible. You will likely be alone at either location unless another guest or family member shows up.A 120v outlet is near the parking area so we were able to trickle charge the EV and made it back to the Sacramento area with no problem and also drove to Lassen Volcanic Park Bumpass Hell trailhead whole there. Fully charge in Truckee on the way here for best range."
