"I am extremely unhappy about our stay at this property. When I booked the room The information provided indicated the following items for the room. Standard Room, 1 Queen Bed, Non Smoking, Refrigerator & Microwave. there was a queen bed. The bedspread had cigarette burn holes. There was a large television, but it was not connected. It would turn on, but was not connected to the provider. There was not a refrigerator there was not a microwave. There was charging access to charge phones. I booked the room around 4 PM previous day knowing we wouldn’t be there until around 3:45 AM. When we arrived via Uber to check in to our room, I was told they had canceled my reservation because I did not notify them that I would be there later than 2 AM. They did finally provide a room for us, and the person at the reservation desk was friendly, however, that does not make up for what was it provided and I would like my money back."

"There wasn't much breakfast...waffles, bagels, cereal. Plenty of coffee though. Have to use the milk for the cereal for your coffee. "

"This hotel has a second floor sitting area, the rooms were quite large, and it was comfortable. Only drawbacks are the blinds do not quite block out the morning light, and the parking lot on site is small. There is a larger one a block away that you can use when this one is full. "

"Our room was very clean, a top priority for me. The room we booked was fairly small and lacked decor but with a queen bed it was everything we needed and more for a 2 person overnight stay in Spokane. All of the supplies and consumables - toiletries, towels, cups, coffee were stocked in the room. No need to contact the front desk after check in. Being in downtown Spokane there were the expected city sounds. Hotel Ruby is aware of this and supplies ear plugs should you need them. We had a little trouble accessing our mobile key but the front desk was staffed with friendly personnel upon our arrival and they quickly made us key cards for our stay along with providing some dinner recommendations. They also provided treats for our dog who traveled with us. There were three options for breakfast at the adjacent Rosies restaurant that were included with our stay - breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich and one other item I cannot recall. We had the burrito & sandwich which were both good and filling for the average appetite. Each came with a small cup of fresh berries. If you chose another item from the menu, instead, you would receive a $6 credit toward that item. We went on a Saturday morning and it was quite busy around 9 am. If you are in a hurry it is a good idea to plan accordingly and possible arrive earlier. Food quality was worth the wait in my opinion. Our son goes to college in Spokane and I hope we will be able to stay at Hotel Ruby on future visits. "

"One of the nicest places to stay! Very helpful and friendly host. Open and reliable communication. The area is beautiful and this home is located close to everything in spokane!! House was clean, bed was super comfy, kitchen fully stocked with all things needed to cook meal. We got to see small moose in the arboretum and lots of other smaller wildlife. I highly recommend renting any property Veeann host. You will not be disappointed"
