"Clean, magical, and welcoming place "

"Hotel is in a good location. We were able to take advantage of the public parking which is convenient and not difficult to get to versus the $45/night valet charge. The water pressure in our room was VERY POOR. We had an issue with our commode flushing properly. The maintenance engineer came quickly; however, he changed the handle, and the commode could no longer be flushed with the lid on---that was bizarre. We were to have housekeeping daily; we did not. We had to retrieve towels for the next morning. We had very noisy neighbors. They were loud. Perhaps the walls were thin as well. The morning breakfast was very good. "

"This house was just perfect for our long weekend stay. We were visiting the University with our son and the location to campus is perfect. It’s only minutes from UTK and the downtown area but you’re in a quiet quaint neighborhood. The house is clean, fully stocked for anything you need, they provide recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, and even provide outdoor activities for the yard. The shower pressure is excellent and all the bedding and towels provided are nice and clean. Communication with Kevin was great too! We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon! "

"We stayed at Urban Island for four nights over Easter weekend. It was the perfect respite for us and our dogs as we visited our son who is a student at UTK. The house was very well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Check-in was flawless and we quickly got settled in for a relaxing weekend. The yard was perfect for our two dogs who were entertained by the local wildlife. We highly recommend this spot if you are visiting Knoxville."

The property was clean and cozy and had all the things we needed for a fun weekend with our grown kids who are local to the area!It is a great location and checks a lot of boxes! Close to the university, great restaurants on the riverfront and walking distance to great hiking, bike trails and outside activities for kids!Definitely recommend this cozy cottage if you need a home away from home!"
