"Well located, good size room, decent bed. Hotel shows its age. Leaky toilet, worn areas, no ac but small window opens. Female day check in super as was female bar attendant at night. Breakfast was ample. Unfortunately we were held hostage as we left to catch an uber because young male clerk thought we had not checked out even though we assured him we had. He would not open the hotel safety door to let us out as our uber waited until we created a ruckus."

"The hotel is in a beautiful old building. The breakfast was great. Both restaurants for dinner were excellent. The fitness gym was very small. The pool, sauna, steam room were fantastic. Our room was on the first floor - near the breakfast area - it was noisy starting at 6 AM. The outside shutters on our windows had cracks in them that let a lot of light come in all night long due to street lights outside. We hung a spare blanket over the cracks to make the room a little darker at night so we could sleep. "
