"Great value stay. Not the top of the line accomidations, but has an onsen, a good restaurant, and it is next to a Family Mart, train station, and tourist attraction."

"One of our favorite experiences while in Japan. The room was incredible, the staff were very accommodating, and we enjoyed the dining experience very much. Although the trek out here was a bit more of a challenge. It was well worth it. The only thing we would have changed is we wish we were able to stay an additional day. Thank you ver much"

"The place was ok, the room is also ok, but not suitable for a long stays, if you have only a cabin baggage is really suitable. The staffs were friendly and kind, despite being some a language barrier. I would go back again someday."

"Vessel Inns really growing on me. Rooms are usually bigger than most standard Japanese biz hotels with free 'proper' coffee in the lobby an added bonus. Breakfast at the downstairs bakery also good."

"The staff members were wonderful: Lester and Jonathan/Check - in very quick & Silk Road Dining staff breakfast with on point!
The only thing could be better was the one hour swimming time & having to make a reservation for it. That was strange and awkward. My phone was a problem and I was sure if it went through!"
"First off, it's a beautiful hotel—very new, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and eager to offer recommendations. The room design was an A+.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with the room. When I checked in, I found a visible stain on the undersheet. Always check! To their credit, the housekeeping manager responded quickly and changed the bedding. I also noticed a slight damp smell in the room and pillows, although I'm not sure what the cause was.
I didn't raise the second issue because I was on a tight schedule and didn't want to risk another room or bedding change after already dealing with the first problem. I also had my own pillow, so I decided to let it go.
Overall, it's a genuinely beautiful hotel with excellent staff, but the housekeeping needs to be more thorough, as these issues took away from what would otherwise have been an excellent stay."
"The room was clean and quite large, much larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. We were on a high floor, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is fine but not that extensive. For us, the highlight was the front desk staff, which made several calls for us to work out an unexpected difficulty (we don't speak Japanese). They were absolutely fantastic. We can't thank them enough."
"This was a nice place for our family of four to stay. Convenient and clean and the breakfast was good. Overall a nice place to stay and would recommend it."
"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! One major perk for us (traveling by car) was the garage parking and the ability to park the car earlier than check in and keep it a little later after check out, that was so helpful to us!
We also loved the included breakfast (something for everyone) and felt like we had what we needed in our room, though we did find the shared twin bed to be extra small for two people to share, even by the expected Japan standards.
Overall, the convenience of the location (proximity to train stations/tranquil neighborhood/familymart within 2min walk/on-site parking) made this a win for us and a place we’d come back to again on a visit to Kyoto!"
"Booked this as an anniversary present and it was a great place to stay.
The venue is beautiful with different areas to eat dinner and a buffet for breakfast.
Different Onsen's to use if you don't have one in your room.
We had 1 in our room which was big enough to fit 2 people and had a view and slightly open so you got a wonderful breeze.
A bus can also take you to and from the venue and the near station (leaving at scheduled times).
Only issue was that you need to make sure that either on your booking or at check in you let them know about food allergies/intolerances etc. so they can prepare something for you if you eat at their restaurants.
Other than that, a wonderful place and lovely stay."
"we liked this hotel and we are planning to go back
pros: onsen, location, and great view
cons: some areas required better care or be renewed and you need to pay to use the pool.
If you like to drive a bike I believe is a nice place to do it, that actually what I want to do on my next stay, just I believe the food is a bit overpriced compared with other hotels that I have stayed in Japan"
