"The cabin was 12 miles up the mountain from the highway. Be aware that you are staying in the mountains , beautiful but you need to be cautious. Centrally located , we drove to Boulder , Golden, Idaho Springs but made sure we were back before nightfall. The cabin is nice , a bit smaller than the online pics show but very clean and stocked with extra towels, toilet paper etc. the two bedrooms are pretty tight and the loft is NOT for adults , very steep climb up. "We loved our stay at this mountain cabin. At an elevation above 10,000 feet, we were surrounded by fragrant pines and had a direct view of a snow-covered mountain top. At the start of June, there were still mounds of snow around the cabin. As you drive up to the cabin, keep your eyes peeled for deer crossing the road. We saw several. Loved it. "I wanted someplace fun to celebrate my 60 trips around the sun, and found this sweet property to rent for the weekend, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The cabin, the treehouse, the grounds, the treasure hunt, the location was top notch. The owners were great to work with, and the care and craftsmanship they have put into this property is pretty stunning. Our thanks to the owners for a great weekend!"

"We spent the week here and the house was great. The view was incredible! We enjoyed the secluded feel of the house even though there were neighbors we never heard or saw anyone. The house was well stocked with everything from towels and essential's. The kitchen was amazing and we would definitely stay here again. Two decks to choose from and an incredible view from them both. We also saw a lot of wildlife like mule deer and Elk in the evenings. Great place!"
