Location, location, location! This property is near the plaka which which makes it excellent for seeing all the sites in Athens, as well as shopping and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Staff was wonderful hotel was clean and most importantly the beds were very comfortable. Yes, we had stairs to walk up to our room, however, with all the walking you do in Athens, what’s a few more steps to get to your hotel room, this was a lovely place to stay and I’d stay again !

Affordable pension in Hydra Town
Clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable. Minutes away from the harbor and restaurants. Lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy a coffee or beer.

Beautiful suit. We had to leave very early and unfortunately the power went out in the middle of the night and we had to pack and get ready by cell phone flash lights. Other than that the place was wonderful

A great place to stay in Hydra!
We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very comfortable, with good ac and WiFi. The location was close to restaurants, markets and shipping. It was only a short, and mostly level, walk to the harbor and ferry landing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace were very nice with a great view of the town. We walked to the beaches along beautiful cliffside roads with amazing views. We spend three nights and could have stayed longer! The people of the town are very friendly, and it is a beautiful and peaceful place!

Dimitris was very helpful. When I messaged him directly to add a night to our stay (originally booked through Expedia) he assisted us with ease and courtesy. For the price, this property was perfect for our stay. It’s a great location, was very clean, quiet and felt secluded. We loved our stay here!

UNREASONABLY UNREASONABLE
We booked a 3 night stay arriving on Monday with an early morning departure Thursday to take the ferry to Athens to board a cruise to New York. Upon arrival the manager said we would have to stay longer as the ferries go on strike Wednesday! If we missed our cruise we would lose 25K so we spent one night and left on the first ferry out. To our surprise, he would not refund the 2 unused nights. Had he sent an email advising of the strike, we wouldn't have gone in the first place. Because he didn't, we lost the ferry fare ($166.59), + two full days.

Thanks for your comment. When you arrived on 8/11 I informed you about the ship strike on 10/11. Your Departure was on 11/11. You could have stayed two nights because there was a route to Piraeus on 10/11. You decided to leave on 9/11 for safety so as not to miss the cruise you had on 11/11 and of course the money. You did well because I would do the same. Your money has already been refunded by us for the two days you did not stay.

Achilleas and his son Dmitris were very accommodating. They upgraded our room to include a lovely patio with a gorgeous view of the harbour as well as kitchenette and large suite. Achilleas helped me with my bags at 6:30 in the morning. Their family run pension was in a lovely area a short walk from the ferry. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience! The owners made my fiancé and I feel like we were a part of their family. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and make our stay in Hydra amazing! The hotel was in walking distance to the center of town and close to many great restaurants. The room was clean and pleasant. We would highly recommend staying here!

We loved the location and the hosts. We had fun trying to communicate as they don't speak English very well. But that is not an expectation we had going in. It was Greece after all. We would stay there again. The picture that shows as advertising does make the courtyard look very nice. In reality it was never set up like that. It was staged so one should not be surprised when you are there to see how it really looks.

Amazing stay with my family! The mattresses were super soft and comfortable, the room had excellent facilities and looked to have been recently renovated. Great water pressure in shower and constant hot water. Dimitri was very helpful and provided us with many additional extras to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The communal rooftop patio was a great place to take in the view and also provided a space to meet some of the other families staying in the complex. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Hydra! Located a few streets back from the water our room was super quiet but exceptionally located to great restaurants and only 4 minutes walk to the main port.

It is the most excellent place to stay in Hydra; nice, clean, comfortable rooms; friendly and extremely helpful proprietor (who went out of his way to help me find accommodation in Hydra for the nights he had no rooms available, and make recommendations on everything I was interested in exploring); and quiet and convenient location, steps away from the port and all the points of interest. If you are looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Hydra at a welcoming place, look no further.
