"The lodge is amazing, but unfortunately, the roads in Zimbabwe are crumbling and brutal. It took 6 hours to travel 275 km to the hotel from Bulawayo. Strongly recommend flying into Victoria Falls and driving from their. Still bad roads but much better than from the South."

"Our stay in Gwango was nothing short of magic! From the moment we were picked up at the airport we were treated with warmth and kindness. The chalets are extremely well designed, and the resort is impeccable. I can’t even decide what my favourite part of this trip was, as each interaction, and each attention to detail surpassed all expectations. The resort in a short 5 min drive from the Hwange national park and to see elephants drink from the waterhole next to the property and monkeys climb the trees around is surreal! Our safari trip was also magnificent. Our guide Ngozi (I hope I’ve spelt his name right!) was so knowledgeable , calm and friendly and we got to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, hippos and many interesting birds and wildlife. I wish I could have stayed there longer! Beautiful place made even more special with beautiful people! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️"

Ngasha was an incredible hostess/bartender, chef Kevin was amazing in the presentation and quality and taste of food, Fortune our guide was incredible and very intelligent and resourceful. Victor was excellent too. "
