The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery is named after the anatomist Dr William Hunter, whose personal collection makes up the majority of the exhibits. It is Scotland's oldest public museum and one of the most impressive University collections in the World.

The Hunterian is located on campus at the University, making it easy to find. Make sure you check opening hours on the website before you leave, as these vary between the different buildings. If you’re driving, simply follow the University signs from the city centre. You can park free of charge on the campus at weekends. Alternatively, there are a number of buses which stop within a few minutes of the entrance.
