I would be happy to return here. The room I had was clean and stylishly furnished as was the whole property.I had a problem with the access code to my room but my phone call to the 24 hour helpdesk was answered immediately and the problem successfully addressed.

All great. No staff bit had all the facilities I needed and the codes to open the doors and information regarding my room was all proceeded in an email. Together with a telephone number just in case. Really quiet and as a female travelling alone I felt fine.

Green Ginger
The room was very clean. Everything was modern and worked well. There was no one to check in with, which was strange for me, but with just the email was able to get in no problem. The only reason i didn't rank it higher is to keep in mind that on Saturday nights (maybe more but only stayed one night), is the music is loud and there's partying going on, which i didn't know.

Great location
Great central location near to the old town. Easy access and parking. Nice and clean. Negatives were a big crack in the window, very dark reception area, lights in bathroom go off by themselves even if you are stood at the sink or using the toilet and a very noisy early beer delivery to the pub opposite However, I would stay again.

Impersonal and stuffy stay.
All perfectly clean, but dark stuffy and hot. Towels were thick and good. Bathroom excellent. Access was difficult. Outside keypad difficult to see in daylight and sun. Bed was small although a double and room was very hot and windows were impossible to open. Aircon was not effective enough. Pleased it was only one night.

Oh dear it seems you had a problem working the air con ? It is a very modern system -air source pump - eco friendly and as per our instruction on the web site you need to allow a few mins for it to reach full temperature. As the Hotel is a listed building and also for safety reasons the windows do not open. Did you call our 24/7 line as our trained team can help with everything. We are truly sorry you did not fully enjoy the Hotel as majority of our guests do. Perhaps you ll try us again in the future ?

I enjoyed the room. Bed lovely, nice shower, everything I'd expected and very nicely presented. Despite city centre location it was very quiet (I did stay midweek) and I had a great night's sleep. A bottle of water would have been a welcome extra.

The rooms and all employees encountered were excellent, but the pub/club is very noisy.

The pub below is presently having action taken against it as the noise levels are over the permitted level. This is only affecting Frid and Sat and we anticipate will be rectified in September.

The hotel itself is beautiful inside And the one member of staff i met was lovely. My only issues were nowhere to get any food and it is directly opposite another hotel and what I think was a pub and there was a literal fist fight outside my window from 10pm which was incredibly loud. Not the hotel I stayed ats fault however I would have liked to be able to speak to someone while it was occurring
